Site 12 (Tent/Small Trailer)
Very cool non-traditional layout of the campground. Private yet communal. The campground location is either a plus or a minus depending on your perspective. It is about 70 yards from a convenience store and closer still to a busy road frequented by semi trucks. It gives either a sense of closeness and security to some or a lack of remoteness and "out there" to others.

First time camping was unforgettable thanks to Bald Eagle! The campground still had fall colors at the beginning of November and David provided us with everything we needed prior to our visit. He was also lenient as we ended up having to leave an hour later due to a late start.
It was very important for us to have flush toilets; they were so clean and the water was warm, which I wasn't expecting from a camp site. Better than some of the public toilets I've been to. They're at the entrance area, so it was a walk at night, but there are markings so you don't get lost. The site we chose was able to fit 2 tents and had clearing for our cars. All in all, a great first camping experience. Thank you, Bald Eagle!

Cozy Experience
This is the second trip I've made with friends to this campsite, and I'm glad we did. The campsite was well kept and the owner was very kind. I would like to come back in the future.

It was a primitive and simple site. It was fantastic. It was surrounded by Rhododendrons and it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. The owner was nice and helpful and the facilities were good for such a small little campground. I will be back if I'm ever in the area again.

Site 30 - Bald Eagle Campsite
Overall beautiful campground. Site 30 is right by the entrance so you get all of the in and out traffic. You can also see the lights from the gas station and can hear a lot of noise from the road which is a major intersection. I would recommend staying further in the campground.
