Surrounded by rolling hills, pristine forests, and abundant wildlife, our 13-acre private property serves as your personal basecamp for relaxation and adventure. Whether you are sipping hot morning coffee under towering hardwoods, gathering around a crackling campfire beneath starry skies, or gearing up for a day exploring the surrounding public lands and waterways, Hillside gives you the peaceful solitude you’ve been looking for — without sacrificing comfort. Accommodation Options The Main House: Our spacious, fully equipped lodge accommodation is perfect for families, executive retreats, or groups of friends seeking elevated comfort in the woods. Twin Pines Cabins: A charming two-story split duplex offering private cabin stays ideal for couples, small families, or hunting partners. (Coming soon in 2027) Secluded Campsites: Primitive and semi-private sites scattered across the acreage for traditional tent campers and outdoor purists. Outdoor Living: Private yard space, fire pit area, and immediate access to scenic walking paths. Easy Access: Conveniently located right off PA-36 with private parking at Twin Pines and a short, pleasant walk through the wooden gate straight to your front door. Location & Recreation: Located just minutes from the Allegheny River, Tionesta Lake, and vast state game lands—ideal for fishing, kayaking, hiking, and seasonal hunting.

A four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended for best access.
Cabin
You'll have this Hipcamp all to yourself.

Campfires allowed
Firepit, wood burning fireplace. Bring firewood, or ask us to provide at $5 per bundle.
Toilet available
Flush toilet. Please put all trash (waste paper, tampons, wet wipes, etc.) in waste basket. NO flushing of waste paper! We are on a septic system.
Pets allowed
On leash. Please use kennel provided. Please pick up after pets. (Poo, and hair)
Potable water available
Tap, pump or well. We are on a well water system. Please be mindful of how much you run the water, as the water level can drop. Water is drinkable. If you like fresh spring water, there are several natural flowing springs in the area. See the cabin guide book for locations.
Showers available
Hot water , cold water only. Refer to well water usage in cabin guide book.
Bins available
Trash bin. Please put all trash in bin in front of garage. Trash goes out on Tuesdays, if you want to have clean trash cans during your stay.
Cooking equipment present
Bbq, oven, stovetop or hot plate, fridge, cookware, cooking utensils, dishware, cutlery, sink or other dishwashing station. Refer to cabin guide book
Picnic table present
Picnic table with fire pit and deck table available
Wifi available
Connecting to Wifi is a must as cell service is not the best, and turn on wifi calling on device
