Tall Oaks Campsite

I can't speak highly enough of our stay with Grouseland Tours at the Tall Oaks Campsite. We were greeted by Mason who showed us to the site and helped get us squared away with the campsite and grounds amenities. Murray stopped by and was as pleasant as could be. The site's were private and fit me and 4 friends comfortable, along with 2 dogs. The view from the site was fantastic. The only thing we got tripped up on were some of the area trail maps vs. trails that seemed to be two different things, but you're never far from a camp road that eases any nerves.

Would certainly camp here again, and would encourage others to do the same.

The site was beautiful. It had a great view on one side and was cozily wooded on the other. The site was well-equipped with firewood, water, and other amenities. Mason was a fantastic host! Punctual, friendly, and very helpful.

We had an amazing experience at Tall Oaks campsite! The view was better than we imagined, Mason was extremely helpful and friendly, and the area was clean and well prepared with trash cans, a port-o-potty, parking spaces, and complementary firewood and water jug - all on site! I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a secluded get away in the mountains.

The view is beautiful. The campsite is very private and has wonderful amenities. Each site has its own private port a potty, bench, picnic table, grill, firewood, dog lead, and trash can/ recycle bins. The walking trails around the property are nice. The only downside was that we could hear the cars on the road below drive by. But it was worth it for that view!

As soon as I got there Mason was waiting for us to take us to the campsite. The campsite was beautiful and has some amazing amenities. The firewood, the clean campsite, convenient trash cans the privacy, your own port-o-pot, and most importantly, the view. This campsite was in a beautiful location and we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets from the very nice table and benches available at the campsite. I can’t say enough about this place and I can’t wait to come back again!

This is a great spot, with fantastic views and all the amenities. Each site had it's own, well kept portaporty, but a full bathroom with shower was a short drive away. We even had a hammock waiting for us! Had a fantastic time and will definitely come again. Thanks, Mason, for a great couple of days.

Tall Oaks is an excellent site for a camping gateway - it includes all the amenities you could want (easy access to firewood, water, and toliet/showers). The views are more incredible than any picture can show, and the site is situated around some enjoyable trails. If you are looking for a great spot to sit around a campfire and enjoy nature - this is the place!

Beautiful view and well maintained site. Mason has placed a nice grill, bench, and picnic table at this location. The firewood was really good quality, and maintenance and upkeep of the larger facilities were impressive. This is the second time I’ve stayed here and intend to come back many more times!
