Nice stay...close to 84 but tucked away, so nice and private. Note that there was some audible highway noise, but only occasionally. Just a cool secluded spot away from the hub bub. Cool little fire ring and Mark hung a nice sun sail. If you’re bringing campervan or rv, you’ll need to have a solid means of leveling your rig. Would def stay again if traveling thru.
Beautiful view with tons of shade!
The host was a great communicator. The site was very private. Nice to be away from the sardine traps which are state campgrounds but for a similar price and with nobody around. Definitely recommend.
Beautiful and convenient location! Helpful host.
My daughter and I loved this spot. It was quiet and perfect for our over night needs. We drove right to it and immediately made a fire and consumed s’mores before bed. The walk to the pit toilet was decorated with small colored trail lights and we actually took a picture because it was adorable.
Mark was amazing making sure we knew where we were going, advised we grab a bundle of firewood and confirmed we got settled.
I would stop here again. I am definitely a short visit type camper, but I think it would be enjoyable for a couple days of camping, visiting and playing cards (if I could stay in place that long).

Great spot next to a cabin in the forest. The host was great about providing good directions and making sure we felt welcome, even in very short notice. Since I always have a little handsaw in my camp kit, there were plenty of downed trees that made for wonderful firewood. The site was very roomy with enough level ground for a huge tent and was much more private and enjoyable than just about any kind of RV/public campsite.
This site was exactly as stated in the description and Mark was both proactive and responsive in being helpful.
This place is nice and secluded. Decent views of the surrounding area. Ground is sloped in spots but there was a small ramp available we used to level out the trailer. Very peaceful and quiet. Amazing stargazing. Would camp here again.

For those that read this review: I have since talked to Sylvia. I explained the directions were sent to the phone number on her account, including a Maps link, written directions and a drone video. The issue was, there was a home number on her account and no cell number. I have told her she will receive a weekend at no charge so she can still experience The High Road camping. She seems happy now. She will be sure send me a cell number for the more detailed directions next time... ( To Sylvia: We look forward to meeting you and we'll be sure you can find the place next time. Thank you)
