Get away from it all by glamping in the foothills of Mt. Hood on the Sandy River near the national treasure of the Mt Hood National Forest.

Sitting on nearly 2 acres, this place is perfect for the solo adventurer, or the place to take that someone special to a unique place.

It's a great location to rest before an epic day of outdoor activities in the Mt. Hood National Forest, or just bring some wine and a novel and take in the Sandy River Watershed.Take a load off and relax. Unplug.

The 14x16 foot tent with a large deck, is situated looking out upon the Sandy River. You'll have access to our private beach just footsteps away which is perfect for swimming and lounging in the summer. Great fishing abounds for steelhead, salmon and trout. Plenty of land to appreciate nature on. The tent is surrounded by an open grassy area perfect for frisbee - while giant cedars cover the edges of our property and provide shade on hot days. If you are here on a rainy day the tent is dry and a wood burning stove will keep you toasty.

We do live on the property. Our house is above the tent and we do have friendly neighbors that occasionally will access the beach as well to recreate.

In the tent you'll find a rustic camping kitchen. We've got a hot plate, cooking pans/pots/plates/stuff, drinking water, and a sink (w/ grey water catch).

The bathroom... let's be 100% transparent here in order to manage your expectations. Right now, we've got a porta-potty set up. It's not so bad. It's very clean. We're working on a more permanent set up & outdoor shower - but for now this is working.

Fires are allowed
Potable water is available
