Applegate river
Peaceful but not as expected
The spot was beautiful, but we had to wait a long time before we could get down to the camping spot by the river. There were no bathrooms or showers available, and the host did not mention this to us at all... (we had to ask some other guests if they had heard anything about bathrooms).
The river was nice, the chickens and ducks were cute.
Very peaceful spot to camp by the river! So I would recommend if you are willing to be flexible about things like bathrooms and not knowing when you'll be able to get to the camp spot (or if it will be available - some people were camping up in the oak woodland by the house).

The worst!
The camp host Michael never showed up to grant access to the private campground...he never returned my calls, texts or emails... complete disregard for the customer
...do not patronize this joke of a campground.

We stayed on the lower tier, down by the river. We were left alone and had a great time. The owners house is on the upper tier over looking where we camped.
