Campsite #2, We developed these sites with lots of room for privacy just down from Crater Lake. Site #2 is great if you have a larger camper or horse trailer, as you can pull through rather than having to back out. It is one of our favored spots by campers. In this 450 acre ranch, 5 acres is for campsites and tipis (listed separately). Most campgrounds have campers right on top of each other, ours gives you room to hike, see the wildlife, trees and wildflowers, you have space to 'be' here, and that's how we plan on keeping it. We just have a dirt road, and no electricity, all is solar, in our desire to keep compatible with the national forest that we are beside. The norm here is to hear the buzz and whir of hummingbirds, dragon flies and birds of all kinds. You can see the stars at night, and hear cows off in the distance, and since we are beside Crater Lake Highway, we are an easy distance to Crater Lake, so you will hear some traffic now and then. But the road is blocked by many very tall pine and cedar and juniper trees. You are across the street from Pelican Butte, a beautiful mountain range, and also see Agency Lake off in the distance. We now have a propane shower for our campers. (Up beside the horse Outdoor arena.) Check out a towel with us and shower for free with your campgrounds fee up at our office.

Bob and Kori were kind and helpful hosts. Their camp is roughly 20 miles from Crater Lake where I intended to spend the day after camping for the night. It was a perfect location for my needs. I would recommend staying here.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! They were such amazing hosts and the site was so clean and kept up with. Not too far of a drive from crater lake either. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, less crowded place to stay!
My wife and I stayed here for a few days while visiting Southern Oregon and it was our favorite spot on the entire trip. Perfectly located about halfway between Crater Lake and Lava Beds with gas and groceries just down the road. It was super private and quiet, Kori was a very gracious host and showed us where all of the amenities were. The water, showers and toilets were a nice touch, but this site was listed as having electric hookups (we have solar so no problems) but that may need to be adjusted. Still, we would most definitely come back to stay here!
the listing said there would electric available which is why i booked it. i think it needs to be much more clear on Hipcamp that there is NO electricity! we could not plug in and since we got there late it was tough. a quick dinner in the dark and we had to go to bed. :(
Bob and Kori were lovely hosts. The shower they offered was nice and they had very good water. It was nice to explore their property and look at their horses. I don’t have many complaints but I would recommend preparing for lots of dust and bringing bug spray. If you need to get groceries, pick them up before arriving in Chiloquin as the local store has limited options.
The site was nice, and Kori was very kind & accommodating. I really wanted to love it. However, there were dogs barking loudly through the night, so much so, that no one in my party was able to get a good night's sleep. The site also does not have an electrical hookup, which was why we booked it.
