Exceeded our expectations
The cabin came with more amenities than expected. (Stove, plates, table, flannel sheets, etc.) The bed was warm and super comfortable... more comfortable than my bed at home! The fairy lights around the site and solar lights around the property were lovely. The camp hosts were present and courteous. Chef Jules has amazing meal offerings available if you don’t feel like cooking! Ala cart when you visit her or Dutch Oven meals delivered to your site. Breakfast bowl was soooo good and reasonably priced. There was a water container at the site, but no shower. The trails around the property are nice. We got lost, but turned around and made it back the way we came in. The cabin is a short hill (15 feet or so) from the parking spot and a longer steep hill (15 yards or so) to the meadow, stage, Chef Jules, Doug the dragon boat, goats, chickens, and the port a potty. There’s a composting toilet closer, but I preferred to use the port a potty. The site was spacious, shady, and perfect. We can’t wait to go back!
Great get away spot!
Selfishly we would like to keep this Cozy little cabin in the woods our secret get away spot. We are looking forward to going back to camp out under the stars at one if the open camp sites on our next visit. Nicole was a friendly and welcoming host...and Camp Chef Jules was delightful!
Relaxing magical getaway.
Wow! What a magical place. It’s a truly beautiful hidden paradise. Nicole was excellent in communication before and during out trip. Very private campsite with opportunities to be social in and around the meadow if we chose. Social distancing was very easy. The tiny house/camp site came with much more than we expected. They had a large drinking water container, camp stove, propane, kitchen accessories, hammock, twinkle lights, menu from Chef Jules, map of hiking paths and even some homemade blackberry jam. I will definitely come back.
My 12 year old and I had such a wonderful stay in the Tiny Cabin! Nicole and Kris were so kind, welcoming and helpful. The goats are exceptionally entertaining as well as all the paths along the property. I honestly felt like I wanted to befriend these welcoming people, relax and sit and talk in the meadow and enjoy the beautiful view all day long.
Perfect get away!
Nicole, Kris, and Jules were all so welcoming and lovely! The bed is incredibly comfortable and the cabin is adorable. The land is beautiful and so much fun to explore! Jules is an amazing cook and the cast iron dinner she made for us was SO good!
An amazing weekend of relaxation
I feel like my experience began before I even ended up at the campsite. Nicole was wonderful with communication (after booking and at the camp site), but then I ran into a scheduling issue on my end. The level of understanding, patience and genuine care I received from Nicole and Kris were phenomenal when having to schedule/reschedule. I still can't thank them enough!
So then we get to the cabin, which I also don't have enough words to explain how amazing it was. There are other campsites nearby, but even with the window open, it was rare that we heard them. The cabin was so cozy, the bedding was so warm and the pillows were the best. The lights up above were also a wonderful touch and nice to fall asleep to. There was a hammock outside, a picnic table and a camp table with lights also on the trees. The area is very shady and restrooms were very clean/easy to get to.
Within a mile, there was the meadow where we got to visit goats and chickens, as well as visit with Chef Jules. Sunday night, a dinner made by her was brought up to the cabin of shepherds pie which was seriously delicious.
Overall, this is just the kind of setting/weekend I needed to relax and re-charge after some crazy times! Thank you so very much Nicole, Kris and Chef Jules!! The whole experience was wonderful!!!
Perfect retreat in trees
Super peaceful little retreat tucked away in the trees. The grounds are tidy and the sites are spacious. Lots of lawn games to play, area to walk and some trails to explore.
The cabin is really cozy and rustic with all the comforts we needed.
The add ons are highly recommended. If you have the option to order dinner, definitely worth it and a really unusual treat.
Hosts are really helpful and responsive. Communication was excellent.
We can’t wait to go back.
Good things come in tiny packages
This was a perfect getaway. The site is exactly as described, and Nicole made the experience better than expected with great communication and delightful hospitality. You can tell she really cares about providing a safe and relaxing environment.
