What a superb place to stay while visiting Crater/Diamond Lake! We booked our spot at the Resort without many expectations as it seemed to be relatively new to hipcamp without many pictures or reviews...but we were blown AWAY upon arrival! There were too many highlights to count, but a few of our favorites included: 1) Matt (host) who accommodated our need for a place to crash on super short notice and even placed us in a more private area than the one we originally booked, 2) the many games/activities available for anyone to play (pickle-ball, horseshoes, cornhole, playground for kids), 3) the FREE canoes/lifevests/paddles that you can take up and down the gorgeously clear and peaceful river! 4) Bathrooms with showers (luke warm water) and I believe laundry services as well, but we didn't need this accommodation 5) Shop with snacks, souvenirs, etc. 10/10 recommend this place and will definitely be back!

Our site! Overflow #1 (the perfect spot, in our opinion). Right next to the stream, pickle ball court, canoes, and a good distance from other groupsThe stream next to the RV/tent sitesThe beautifully clear water during our canoeing adventure

Backdrop to the site was awesome, with a stream..if you dont have a full hook up site ,dumping costs $20..,need to be aware of this..Not like KOA with a free dumping station.

Overall a very good stay! Would for sure recommend and would stay there again. The only part that was not great (this could have been our own fault as we rented an RV site for tent camping) is that it was right next to the road and there were constant logging trucks going by all night long.

The park has some nice features and the owners have tried to make it a fun place to visit. However, they felt it was necessary to move a large pile of dirt from one side of the park to the other using a small tractor. The bucket was very small maybe two wheelbarrows of capacity requiring at least 50 trips past the campsites. The amount of noise and dust was extremely irritating covering our camp with a thick layer of silt. When I finally got fed up I went to the office to complain, instead of an apologize the Hostess said that was just the way it had to be than her husband jumped in to berate me and defend their right to create the atmosphere and that I should just accept the conditions as it was part of a construction project. I rented three sites for this trip and none of us will return here
