Incredibly beautiful and welcoming!
Pasture Camping On The Farm was our dream campsite!
The farm and entire surrounding area was incredibly gorgeous, the hosts were super kind and welcoming but also gave us our privacy and they have put in a lot of work to make the campsite excellent. There were helpful and adorable signs up, the camping area and path to it were freshly mowed and they even put down wood chips on the path to help keep all our feet dry. When we arrived our hosts had a laminated map of the property for us with some advice on a great walk we could take and even recommended their favorite nearby place to go swimming. The campsite had a hammock that the kids did not stop playing on, a picnic table with a 3 gallon glass jug full of fresh drinking water and a sweet and beautiful fire pit made of rocks with long stools all around it.
And the sunset views alone will make this one of the most incredible places you have ever stayed! Plus you get to watch and listen to the sheep and cows in the pasture and visit with the very sweet guard dog!
We had to leave early because of a sick child, but we’re all very sad to have to go.
For those like us who bring A LOT of things when you go camping, there is a bit of a walk between the parking area and campsite, just so you can emotionally prepare yourselves, haha!
Oh! And the composting toilet was conveniently located with privacy and a beautiful view of flowering bushes and absolutely did not smell at all, and the kids think it is super awesome that the microbes turned their poop and pee into compost 😂😂😂.
I highly recommend you give this farm a visit! You will not regret it!
I absolutely LOVED my stay on this pasture! I got to enjoy such an amazing sunset, listen to the cows next to us, see little piggies running around and oinking, and be woken up to the crowd of their rooster (which I didn’t mind at all, took me back to my childhood). Their compost toilet was clean and didn’t smell at all! I actually had fun using it hehe. Emma and her family were so sweet and helpful. I’m new to Oregon so they have me some great tips on what to check out! Don’t miss out on this place 😊
Very comfy stay
Staying here was amazing and very relaxing like my wife and i expected. The land was full of cattle and goats were very awesome company. The hosts were very nice and welcoming with a very warm hello and goodbye. They also give you a site map so you know where you are if you decide to walk around on the property. The restroom was a compost with wood scraps that was used to cover your liquids and solids which was a very environmentally friendly way of getting rid waste. I would give this a 5 star rating!
Peaceful and private
Private and peaceful spot out on the country side. We showed up late and the host was okay to greet us. Firewood and water were ready for us at the site. It’s about a 2 minute walk from the car to the site. The toilet was kept up nicely. Very cute and had a hammock. Woke up to the sounds of roosters. Upon our departure the host gave us some freshly picked blackberries, yum! Would stay here again.
Perfect little oasis
Came down to Medford area for a concert at Britt Festival pavilion and decided to see if we could camp nearby. SO glad we google searched and I came across HipCamp! What a cool idea.
I found Emma’s place and was sold by the green pastures, nearby water, hills, hammock, fire pit and convenient outhouse (semi-glamping which is up my alley haha)
Hosts greeted us and opened the gates to the private entrance and gave us a little map. The spot was well maintained and exactly what we were hoping for! (More actually) They provided about 3 gallons of potable water and we bought a bundle of wood that was perfect for cooking dinner & breakfast.
Easy check in, check out and a beautiful spot! We will definitely be back next time we camp down south :-)
Perfect site for peaceful camping!
Arriving was a breeze, easy to find and we were were greeted immediately upon arrival. The campsite was very quiet and private with beautiful views over the pasture. The campsite was clean and had 5 gallons of water set up for us :) we enjoyed the proximity to crater lake as well as all the wildlife seen in the area. Emma is a great host, we would definitely stay here again and recommend this to friends and family.
This campsite was amazing! We had no problem finding the place and we were met immediately upon arrival and shown the way to the campsite. The campsite was lovely! It was private and had a beautiful view overlooking the pasture and facing the west, perfect for watching sunsets. The toilet was clean and fun to use. I could not recommend this campsite more!
Beautiful campsite. The views were amazing. The actual site itself was set up for a very relaxing night. The fire pit kept us warm as we enjoyed the sunset and while we star gazed (which were both worth staying at this campsite for). The hosts made sure we had what we needed and were extremely friendly. Would definitely stay again.
