Shady Oaks near Lake Thunderbird
Dan was very responsive and helpful. I arrived late and missed the turn off but was able to find it when I double backed. The site was as expected based of off reviews and descriptions. Dogs are still barking at night, but I couldn’t hear them when I was sleeping (in a vehicle). The gravel road could use a weed whack, but it is definitely passable and I had no trouble getting in. I didn’t need much but a place to stay for the night and this was perfect!

Private beautiful and rustic plac
Dan was easy to communicate with and helpful. The place was private and beautiful. This camp site was also a life saver as a last minute place for our road weary family to spend the night. The only challenge was there were lots of barking dogs. Aside from that, shady oaks was a lovely place and I would recommend it to anyone traveling through OKC.

The site was secluded and quiet. We enjoyed our evening there and the owner was friendly and quick to offer any help he could provide.

The owner was very friendly, and rhe site was easy to find. It is a great private camping area wirh plenty of level areas foe tents. There are lots of very low bramches, so I wouldnr reccomend it for a travel trailer with a TPO roof, but it is a great private spot for tents for a camper van.
