Sheila was an amazing host! Our campsite was extremely secluded, with all of the amenities you could want or need close by! The common area with a super clean port-a-john, running hot and cold water and a beautiful pavilion to get out of the elements was absolutely perfect as well! Paths were cut throughout the property and you are free to explore as much as you like. I would highly recommend Pleasant Valley to anyone looking for a secluded camping experience! Also, the cinnamon rolls that Sheila made are to die for!!

This campsite is peaceful and gorgeous!! Sheila and Jana are wonderful hostesses!! The campsites are way back in the woods and secluded so you have lots of peace and quiet. There is a pebble stream that runs through the entire site!! If you enjoy primitive camping, this is the place for you!! Sheila or Jana will bring ice to your campsite so you don’t have to leave!! It’s absolutely my new favorite place to camp.

We stayed at walnut grove perfect little hide away .The creek By our tent was a heavenly Babbling brook, We will look forward to our next return .

Sheila and her husband were helpful, kind and honest. We all appreciated the sink and extremely clean porta potty. We are planning on coming back for sure!!
Print directions or use satellite for directions. We had some loss of cell signal when driving to the campsite, but the directions were easy to follow. When we arrived at the beautiful historic farmhouse, we received a friendly greeting by Sheila. Brenden took us to the campsite and gave us a map and a guide to hiking on the grounds. We camped on Site 1, Walnut Grove. It is a gorgeous site with a stream running next to the campsite. Lots of butterflies and dragonflies and we able to see some deer on our hike. There was good airflow, not a lot of mosquitoes and a private location from the barn. We were able to back up our SUV just a few yards from our tent and the immaculately clean portapotty was a short walk to the nearby meadow. In the meadow you will find a sink with hot and cold water, a pavilion and a swing. Everything is very well maintained. We will be back! Thanks Sheila!

Our family (2 adults and 2 young kids) LOVED this campsite! We stayed at Peaceful Stream and it was perfect - large site, very private, stream that the kids spent hours playing in and nicely mowed trails connected to it. And there was a perfectly mulched trail about 200 ft away from our car that made getting our gear to the site very easy. There is a nice pavilion area with picnic tables and a sink (with hot water - huge bonus!). Do keep in mind that there may be gatherings (aside from campers) in the pavilion, so be prepared with water and a place to eat at your campsite in case these things are not available during your mealtime. This was not an issue for us, but thought it would be good to know. Sheila was so kind and has a lovely property we would highly recommend! We can’t wait to come back!!

Wonderful experience. Our family of five would definitely return. My 3 boys (all under 6) loved checking out the farm animals, playing in the creek, exploring the woods, and enjoying the swings. We stayed at site 1 and can’t wait to come back. Make sure you preorder some cinnamon rolls for the morning deform Sheila! Bonus, Wooly Pig Farm Brewery is less than 10 minutes away. A couple Crowlers over the campfire was perfect.
