The perfect spot exisits!
This is our favorite go-to spot for a chance to get away from the city, be alone for a few days, build a giant fire, and get an amazing view of the stars! My dog absolutely loves an opportunity to run to his heart’s content, the field area is huge and the road is up a hill past a creek so he can run without me worrying. There is a variety of animal watching to do, the deer make an appearance most days and hawks, finch, woodpeckers, birds galore! There is a fishing pond and beautiful woods for wandering. The gracious hosts, Michelle, PJ, and their pup Sasha are the perfect balance of friendly/available and leaving you to yourself. They know about local waterfalls and hiking in the area. There is a convenience store nearby for anything you may have forgotten. I have stayed in tents here and in the cabin and honestly stopped searching for a better camping place. This is it!
This place is great plenty of room to roam and explore very quite and private site next to the pond.. we caught big bass and monster bluegill out of the pond and had a blast fishing the stars at night were amazing and I can’t say enough nice things about the host very kind people and made sure we had everything we needed can’t wait to stay again
Great spot hikers bikers & kayakers
Very nice and secluded spot! Stayed the weekend to do paddling on the Mohican and Kokosing rivers due to the close proximity to both. No cell service but the navigation still worked. The pond on site is beautiful, as is the stream further down the hillside.
Sasha you have a nice place
Paula, Lucy and I stayed near the farm that has beautiful views of the rolling hills of Ohio. Sunsets and sunrise beautiful.have water to fill our water tank at the farm. Electric at site by the farm, up on the hill. The tent camping is in an area away from the farm and very secluded with pond and many nice spots to tent. They have water by the A frame, not sure about electric. I believe they spoke of the A frame was also available for rent.the entrance to the tent area a bit steep for RV unless maybe 4wd. But by the farm the drive was great. The host are very gracious and leave you to your own after they meet you. Sasha (camp name)is their dog who is adorable! Great place for fall leave change time!!!
Private, picturesque, perfect
Sasha’s Spot was exactly what we’ve always wanted out of camping and haven’t been able to find, till now! The site was totally private, with a whole field that felt like ours. Michelle and her husband were very welcoming and helpful, then left us to enjoy the peaceful setting. Being able to let our dogs run off leash (and take a million dips in the pond) was a huge part of what made this stay so great. Having access to all 300 acres of their family farm was wonderful. We took a couple different walks around the rolling fields, which were so picturesque they felt like a movie set. There was also a great little creek Michelle told us about in the woods near our site, and our kids and dogs both loved playing in the shady pools. We can’t wait to go back for another stay!
Peaceful and comfortable!
Very friendly & helpful hosts. A beautiful view of the rolling hills with wild flowers throughout. Wonderful trails to walk on and enjoy the sounds of nature. We were able to get an awesome spot right in front of the fishing pond. It was nice to hear the running water while falling asleep. We will definitely be coming back soon!
Had a great weekend here. Hosts were very nice and helpful. Spot was beautiful and private and my family and I had a blast. Pretty secluded but you're really not too far from a store if need be. Cell signal is awful, though with two teenage girls I'm gonna list that as a positive. Highly recommend, I'll probably be back.
Nice little spot
Really nice little spot for our family to do a quick overnight camping trip. The site was well-kept and everything was as described. The pond is small but we caught some pretty good-sized bass. There's another campsite nearby but it's separated with a tree line and we pretty much never saw them. Hosts were nice and helpful as well.
Beautiful site, great hosts!
Michelle and PJ were really helpful every step of the way during our stay at Sasha's Spot. They were accessible to us throughout our stay while also respecting our privacy, which was wonderful. The campsite itself was private, quiet, and beautiful. The weather wasn't great that weekend, which can't be helped, but overall we had a lovely time and would highly recommend this campsite!
