Runamuk Farm Tent is beyond comfortable. The tent is spacious, clean, and well amended. I was lucky enough to meet Bonnie and John and have the chance to be toured around the property. All the animals on the property are super friendly. The views from the tent are a perfect complement to the comfortable outdoor furniture. Bonnie made sure my stay was everything I could ask for. I would highly recommend staying here and petting some of the animals. The Round House Bakery Cafe in Cambridge is a great nearby place for breakfast or brunch.

First, I want to Thank Bonnie for such an awesome experience and the most outstanding camp experience for a season camper like me, and 11 others first timer I brought with me on the weekend of 9.22. I now have 11 new campers that are now addicted to camping and been texting me all day for a second trip. First, location is private, but spacious. Both sites possess views of the sky and mountains that's absolutely breath taking, and we had both sites. When you drive up the dirt road, the first turn to your left is the square tent with 2 bunks. This site gives you the view of the entire skyline and there are no shades at this location. So if you love star gazing, this would be the place. However, small cars or vechicles low to the ground, need to be extra careful because there is a small little drop to access the site. SUV and med size pick up should be fine, but anything wider, proceed slow. The ground is grassy, and it's a bit of a slope of you decide to pitch a tent but there are flat areas next to the tent provided by the Bonnie. Speaking of the tent, it's 5 stars camping at its finest. The mattress is a 6 in memory foam, and got a night stand next to it. It's super clean, and the linen and bedding is from Tommy Hilfiger. It's also got a wood stove inside in case if it gets cold in autumn night. The Ammenties provided by Bonnie, puts the Four Season Ritz Carlton to shame, and I can say this because I use to work there. You will find organically made sweets, fresh water with lemon, soap, detergents, table lamps, floor rugs, just to name a few. At this site, there is also a large shelter over the table in case of weather change. The table also got a closet which includes a propane stove, extra propane, soap, dish detergents, bug repellent and candles. Site also comes with 2 lounge chairs to view the scenery on the deck of the tent. I find no flaws or can think of anything to improve at this site. Firewood is provided by the owner, and you can find plenty of wood on the floor for the firepit. The restroom facility is under a tent as well, approximately 30 feet away from the tent. It's a very clean portable toilet housed with a real toilet seat, and liners, toiletry, and sanitizer next to it. It's also got a propane heated steel water container nxt to it should anyone decide to take a shower. If you have a party of 10 at this site there's plenty of room to pitch tent and park. It's super quiet at night and all u can hear is your heart beat and the crickets. Tent site 2, is the dome shaped tent which is a about 1000 feet up from tent site 1 and to the right of the road. This location can park about 3 cars and its smaller than the one below. The dome tent is spacious, got a night stand, Queen size memory foam, and got an awesome view of the mountains and skyline. However, this area is very shaded, so note that if you are there for star gazing. Ammenties are the same and it's great for smaller parties. 10 or more may be tight but tent is big enough to have 2 more on the floor to sleep comfortably. Bonnie gave us 2 extra twin size mattress since we had 4 in the dome tent.

When you get there, you will be greeted by Bonnie and her warm smile. When you leave, Bonnie will say goodbye to you in person and she's an awesome lady and an outstanding host. I would strongly recommend this camp to any first time camper or seasoned alike. I will also be posting pics of our experiences there. Now I got 11 spoiled campers who's going to be in a world of hurt cause there's really no other camp ground like this, and I am never going back to state parks ever again. My grp was so happy we all chipped in for a nice tip to Bonnie for her service and our excellent experience!

Bonnie and the Runamuk Farm Tent were amazing. We could not have had a better first Hipcamp experience. Highly recommend to anyone reading this!

The tent: The tent is large and high so neither I nor my very tall partner needed to duck at all. It can very comfortably fit multiple people. The bed is very comfortable. and makes for a good night's sleep. The tent came with AMAZING coffee and a french press set-up, as well as lemon water, plates, utensils, pot, and stove to cook food.

The site: Wow! What a view! The yurt is high up in the mountains and provides an excellent view of the farm below and the forested hills and mountains in the distance.

There is a comfortable hammock that is perfect for watching the sunrise or sunset. Our favorite part was definitely having the ready-to-go fire pit to sit around as soon as night fell. And bonus: Bonnie has the cutest farm animals and dogs! Honestly the site had everything we could think of for a camping trip.

The host: Bonnie is an incredibly genuine and nice person. We had problems with our vehicle after we checked out, and Bonnie drove out to help us. She stayed with us for over an hour, called others for advice, and helped us out with her own materials. Honestly one of the kindest and most sincere gestures from someone I did not know at all.

Fantastic stay, highly recommended. Bonnie provides the tent, cots/bed for 4, water, soap, sanitizer, wood, lighters, stove, propane, coffee, sugar, fruit, knives, spoons, mugs, chairs, TP, and a gorgeous view. Basically all we needed to take out of the car was food. It is like a fancy hotel outdoors.

Definitely the coolest tent we’ve ever seen. The site was nicely set up and appointed with necessities, coffee, water, loads of high quality firewood as well as a few other nice surprises... Private site overlooking the farm and the beautiful rolling green hills to the east. We woke up at sunrise and watched the dogs herd the sheep around the property, then one of the dogs came to say hi and get a little love . Temp dropped overnight so we ended up using our sleeping bags and were fine. Site is pet friendly and our schnauzer loved roaming around and exploring. Recommend this place highly, it was exactly what we were looking for and needed.

Bonnie was very kind and helpful when we arrived to the site late at night. She set up a fire for us in advance (we just had to light it) and quickly responded to our texts when we had questions about the propane stove. The view was beautiful and the tent was spacious. She provided water, coffee, a pot, a propane heater, a propane stove, blankets, toilet paper, etc. Thank you Bonnie!

Bonnie was beyond helpful with every aspect of the trip. She responded quickly to every question and went out of her way to make the stay as perfect as possible.

The tent area was spotless and had everything we needed to enjoy the stay. The extra touch of fresh cut flowers, cheesecake, and lemon water made me feel like we were staying at a posh hotel and not a camp.

The view front the picnic table and tent are breathtaking. We will be returning again in the near future.

The perfect girls’ weekend

This was the perfect getaway for a girls’ weekend! When I say girls, I mean two best friends of 20 years, a 4-year-old, a 6-year-old, and 2 French bulldogs. We all needed to escape the stress of a pandemic and spend quality time together without distractions. Runamuk farm made it happen.

The view was incredible in every direction! The area is well maintained and the girls were in our sight while free to roam and explore. We were close enough for Bonnie to anticipate our every need (water, propane, cheesecake!), but secluded enough to feel confident taking refreshing showers behind a tarp hung between two trees.

The space is remote and completely free of traffic sounds, but had a internet signal strong enough for my 6-year-old’s math lessons online. The camping spot had no more bugs than our professionally maintained lawn at home in the city, but provided a true outdoor experience for my girls.

I wish I could find the right words for the therapeutic experience we had at the farm. There is something magical about looking out at the green rolling hills & seeing an waxing gibbous moon on the left and fireworks on the right & knowing they are miles apart.

Trust me and come here for a few nights to check it out for yourself.
