The Homestead was a wonderful place to stay. Campfires aren’t allowed at the site but there is a community pit for use. The other occupants of the area were delightful, the vineyard is very close by and the land is perfect for light walking.

Beautiful, picturesque place! And Val was the ultimate host. We had a nice, comfortably private site next to big field/vineyard. Spent some time in the morning with the incredible horses that live there. Definitely take advantage of the family's winery next door, for natural wine and mead, cocktails, and brunch (including vegan options!)

Lots of dirt roads leading up to the homestead - would try to arrive in daylight next time, but Val made getting around onsite very smooth and easy, lending us a cart for our gear and providing some firewood. We definitely want to return!

What an incredible trip! It was too brief for my liking but this place is very special. Val was inviting and the place was magical. Really close to some great trails for hiking/biking. Wish we were able to stay longer for a visit to the winery but hopefully we will make it back soon. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a respite

We had a really lovely and unique stay. The property is wonderful with beautiful views and a magical atmosphere. Really enjoyed feeling a sense of community.

Val is a great host and made us feel very welcome and comfortable.

Hang out with horses in the morning, enjoy the yoga studio for yoga and meditation, say hi to other guests, walk to Val's winery for yummy brunch and then go out exploring the area with nice hikes and more.

We had an awesome time and will definitely go again.

Val was great and I loved the atmosphere of the place. The only thing I would change is to spend a little time flattening the tent pads to provide an easier set up. We fiddled a bit and did get a mostly flat spot.
