Great farm, great family!
Amy and Roy were amazing hosts. This was our first time using hipcamp and we feel so lucky we got to know their familyand had the privilege of staying in their lovely farm. We booked a bit last minute at night, and they were immediately ready for us. We felt at home with the very warm welcome provided by the hosts. Our kids loved the farm and had a great time playing with Nathaniel and Elizabeth. They were so generous, gave us a nice welcome gift. Our kids were so happy with the new friends. We wish them all the best. Highly recommended. We hope to be back one day.
Life is better on the farm!
My stay here was PERFECT. Amy, Roy and their gang, the kids, chickens, turkeys, and even the cat were the friendliest, kindest and overall BEST hosts ever. I arrived in the mid afternoon on a nice day and immediately knew I had picked the right place. I was looking for a safe place away from all the hustle and bustle of a bigger town or city. This was it...it and they made me feel like home. Amy presented me with a adorable arrival gift of their homemade honey, some teas, coffees, chocolates and fresh fruit... just what any traveler would like. I enjoyed my afternoon just relaxing and listening to chickens and turkeys doing their thing. I fell a sleep shortly after dark due to be exhausted from the drive and not sleeping well the night before to the sounds of silence. I slept like a rock. Awoke early the next morning to watch the sunrise and what a glorious one it was (sorry didn't get any good pictures). I had ordered breakfast as one of the options that Amy and Roy offer...Amy made a stick to your ribs breakfast of homemade sausage gravy and biscuits. Again perfect for any traveler. We had a nice family like time eating and socializing. I would stay here again in heartbeat! Thank-you again Amy and Roy and family for making me feel like HOME!
Amy, Roy, and their whole family were a blessing. Even though we arrived late afternoon they waited for us and were more than welcoming. Without their help in setting up our tent in the dark (and rain) or the extra necessities we needed to have a good nights rest- I’m not sure how we would’ve survived. I slept so comfortably and had a wonderful stay! If you are passing through I strongly recommend you stay with them! They have a lovely family and home - you will not regret it. The breakfast was also a highlight, local foods, great company and chat to start the day!!
Thank you Amy and Roy for your hospitality, it was so great meeting you and your family. If I am ever in the area I’ll make sure to stop by again!
