River View on the Clarence

Fantastic spot right on the river, flush toilet and hot shower. All the amenities you need. BBQ and fire pits. Lovely hosts who are only too happy to help. Nice and close to Grafton and a 5 min trip in a tinny to Ulmarra. Highly recommended 😊

Easy access to a large grassy poplar lined area with Clarence River views. Do as much or as little as you want. Fish, swim, kayak, etc. Town water available, hot shower, flushing toilet, firepit and picnic table.. With only 2 sites there is ample room for all. Thanks Kevin for offering your property to others and welcoming us.

We had the campsite to ourselves. We camped right on the Clarence River - perfect! Our host, Kevin, was able to set us up with a generator, as our batteries require testing, but bathroom facilities are excellent, corrugated iron, as one would expect in a paddock. Can highly recommend the camp and host

Great spot to stay, 10 min out of Grafton. Right on the Clarence river, great for fishing.
Shaddy spots, simple but clean toilet and shower. Turns out it's even cheaper than the showground, won't go anywhere else next time I pass by.

This is a superb spot to stop for a few days or even longer. Being right on the river makes for great fun and the afternoon breezes were wonderful. Although, the day we left it was getting rather wooly so best be sure you have robust camping setup with good tent pegs.
The flushing toilet and shower were a treat (keep and eye out for the resident tree frogs) and were great to have on site. Along with a great fire pit and access to a common area with picnic table and bbq you couldn’t ask for more.
There is some noise from the trucks on the road over the other side of the river which is particularly noticeable at night when there isn’t any breeze but it didn’t worry us.
Being a 15 minute drive to town made it easy to pickup any supplies or forgotten essentials too. With good 4g reception, if you have your own power (we have solar but I believe a small generator is available if required) it is a viable option for a remote WFH arrangement for a few days. We’d definitely go back again & are planning to sometime soon.

River View on the Clarence is a lovely spot with great access to the river. Shower and toilet very comfortable and welcome. There's only two sites and plenty of room for them, so no issues there. The sites are well shaded by the surrounding Poplars but you don't need to set up directly under the trees. Good sun for solar through the middle of the day.

Kev was very welcoming and helpful with advice and firewood.

One of the best aspects of this spot is you have a relatively private beach to use on the river for kayaking, swimming or boating. This kind of access to the river is rare on that part of the Clarence and is a bonus in the warmer weather.

Situated across the river from Ulmarra, there is a bit of road noise, but with the Grafton bypass in place now, the volume of traffic on the road is a lot less than it used to be.

I saw Dolphins swimming past,
Had a swim, there were cows a couple of horses and a resident green frog in the toilet
I had a very relaxing time and will definitely be back and recommend to everyone
