Our place is good for couples, two friends or solo adventurers. Short walking trails on our property of 32 acres and horses to love on! There is a company close by called Enchanted Equitreks that offers riding. We lived in the yurt for two years, so it is fully equipped as a home. What a wonderful experience! This yurt is perfectly set up for a weekend/week away for a couple: queen bed, full kitchen, comfortable seating, dining area, and bathroom! We have never stayed in a yurt before and will definitely stay again! Carol was wonderful and communicated everything in advance of our arrival and was available for anything we needed (however, we didn't end up needing anything - the yurt was fully outfitted)! It was raining when we arrived and were nervous about the driveway (we have a front wheeled van - not good in mud) but the yurt is very close and we had no problems. Also, there is an honesty bar with beer and wine :)
I would recommend this yurt for anyone wanting to get away and relax! We hope to come back soon!
I cannot say enough good things about this place! I have been looking forward to staying in this yurt for about a month and it surpassed my expectations! Friendly and welcoming hosts, beautiful yurt inside and out, and they provide you with everything you need, including coffee and beer/wine! And the yurt sat on a gorgeous property with amazing views. And I woke up one morning at sunrise and the lighting was so beautiful! A highlight of the trip. And they have a deck and bbq that was perfect for eating outside and taking in the beautiful scenery. It was a perfect getaway and my husband and I will be back for sure!
We absolutely loved our stay in the yurt, and would totally return again. We loved the front patio for stargazing, the skylight, the kitchen, and the many accommodations of the yurt. It was conveniently located just outside of Albuquerque, not too far of a drive at all from activities in the city.
Perfect peaceful retreat
This place was amazing! We loved every minute of it. Perfect for a getaway weekend when you are craving some solitude. The yurt had everything you needed and the hosts were fantastic!
Carol was the most wonderful host as we passed through on a Mother-Daughter road trip. The yurt was so beautifully decorated and neatly organized. Everything we needed was there for us- Including wifi! We enjoyed two nights in the yurt and look forward to another yurt experience soon! Thanks Carol!
Beautiful, clean, and peaceful! Immediately we were greeted by our kind hosts and shown around. Then we were left to ourselves for the duration of our stay! My husband and I live in a tinyhouse, so we found the yurt to be extremely spacious and comfortable! 10/10!
The yurt was an amazing place. It is well stocked with cooking essentials, and they really did well with the limited space they had. The surrounding land and animals made the stay magical. I would highly recommend this place to stay!
