After graduating from MSU we realized various situations arising and decided to build an off grid home on ten acres near the rapidly growing "city" of Bozeman. We began the project using refuse from the building industry in the Valley and we've completed a small cabin we've lived in full time since 2016. During that time we've planted hundreds of specimen in our Food Forest, are raising a small herd of alpacas that are protected by Thor the Guardian, and have built a 20' fiberglass dome overlooking the Missouri Headwaters River Valley.

    Hills above the Headwaters I...
    Off the beaten path but intriguing
    This spot was a little hard to find but it’s a great, off the beaten path stay away! The hosts were great and had lots of neat animals and pets around. They provided tent and cots were awesome and the kids had a blast playing in it and the forest. What a different but fun get away. It was very hot and we arrived later in the day. The river is a little drive away and I’d recommend working a swim into your stay!
