Beautiful farm in the most breathtaking valley! Great hospitality, they accommodated our late arrival and Jennifer was so welcoming. They also gave us some tips for breakfast and a path to follow on our roadtrip. Amazing property and well worth the value. We’ll be back!

Absolutely lovely people, setting and accommodation. The scenery was beautiful and the farm grounds bucolic. Jennifer and Micah were welcoming and helpful. We would highly recommend this hipcamp without reservation. We camped on the site in a 24’ camper.

jennifer and micah were amazingly hospitable and welcoming to us. not only did we have a safe flat place to camp for the night nicely cushioned by their lawn, we got a full tour of the farm and got to meet the horses, goats, pigs, and cats, as well as the invitation to use their very clean and updated main shower in their house. we had a great time watching the perseids from their hammock too, as well as just having some good conversation with some very kind people. we will definitely stay here again if we are around missoula in camping accessible months.

I definitely recommend visiting Rusty Nail.
It is a lovely and cozy farm in the middle of some pretty spectacular, intense scenery! You'll be able to pitch your tent in a shady spot under a tree and look out over the entire valley. There are beautiful views of the surrounding hills and farms. Though the farm is very easy to find from the highway, you'll feel secluded and peaceful.
Jenn was very friendly and she really knows the area. She gave us great suggestions for the rest of our trip.
I loved my visit. It was everything you'd want from a Hipcamp experience: safe, comfortable, but off-the-beaten track. Book it!

We had an amazing time at Rusty Nail Farm. This place is what Hip Camp is all about. The hosts are very interesting people.. we had a tour of the property, got nibbled on by goats, put our little RV under their tree and then got fresh raspberries in the morning. I cannot recommend highly enough.

We had such an amazing stay with Jennifer! Her and her husband were very friendly and welcoming. We were traveling through and contacted Jennifer in a pinch and she responded very quickly and saved us driving all the way into nowhere to find a campsite. Only a short drive outside of Missoula. Jennifer watered the grass so we had nice comfy grass to pitch our tent on. Watched the meteor shower and cuddled with the cute kitty and goats. A wonderful place to camp if you are passing through Missoula.

We loved our two nights here! Jen and her partner truly love this land and their animals and you can feel it when you arrive. They were very kind hosts and shared tips on what to do in the area. It was lovely to stay out of the city, but have it be only a 30 min drive to Missoula. There was a smaller town nearby as well. A picnic table nearby our tent was a nice amenity to have. The land here was our favorite part! We were surrounded by gorgeous 360 views. Would highly recommend!

The Rusty Nail Farm was a great break from our 12 days of congested campground stays. We were able to pull up our 26' Sprinter C right into a mowed pasture and set up and check out the beautiful Montana scenery. Upon booking Jennifer communicated quickly and worked with our every changing arrival schedule. And our daughter loved checking out the momma and baby goats. Thanks for opening your slice of paradise to us.
