I once lived down the road, and I installed gardens and ran an organic nursery on this propery.  After closing that business I began the slow process of making the original retail building, which was built with timbers from my great-grandparents Iowa barn, into a quiet rural hide away.  The original potting shed became the outhouse, and the long shade structure that is attached to the cabin became a wonderful outdoor respite from sun or rain.  Now I'm pleased to share this lovely and very special spot with others who appreciate nature.

    Peaceful retreat
    Had a lovely time at the cabin, hiking the property and surrounding community. The land is inviting and charming as is the cabin. Diane is a wonderful host, caring, kind, and a great communicator! Easy access to the Katy Trail.
