This is a very private location. In its former life this property was a limestone quarry. Evidence of it's history remain with high rock walls on both ends of the property. In the center of the property is about 5 acres that is flat and covered with wildflowers and small trees. Surrounding this area is another 15 acres of hills and trees great for hiking, enjoying nature
This is a very private location. In its former life this property was a limestone quarry. Evidence of it's history remain with high rock walls on both ends of the property. In the center of the property is about 5 acres that is flat and covered with wildflowers and small trees. Surrounding this area is another 15 acres of hills and trees great for hiking, enjoying nature and viewing the beautiful Mississippi River below. There are four unique campsites that are spaced far enough apart to maintain space and privacy. Two of these sites can accommodate RV's or travel trailers. There is a boat ramp just a mile down the hill for boating or fishing on the Mississippi. The city of La Crosse, WI and La Crescent, MN are each only about a five minute drive away. Great River Bluffs State Park and many other recreational opportunities are just minutes away.

Beautiful, secluded, and peaceful
What a wonderful area! We were looking to get away from La Crosse for awhile for just a one night stay. Everything was so beautiful and the dogs had a wonderful time exploring around. Hosts were extremely nice and friendly. Definitely will be coming back!

Highly recommend- great property!
We are SO happy to find this beautiful campsite! The Benson family greeted us upon arrival and made everything so easy. They communicated with us before our stay making us feel extra welcomed. Directions and location on the app were very accurate. The campsite is nestled against the bluffs from an old rock quarry making it both scenic and private. Views from the top of the Mississippi River were great. If we are ever traveling through the area again, we will be staying here.

Staying here was an amazing experience! The site was private and secluded and the hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. We got to hike around the property as well and it was absolutely beautiful. We hope to come back again soon!

This site was awesome! We were up on the bluff, in a very serene, wooded campsite with a great view. Erica and Aaron met us when we got there, brought our firewood up to the site and gave us all the info about the property. We loved camping here and will definitely come again.

We had an amazing time! Erica and Aaron were awesome hosts and very welcoming. There were a couple other campers there but we were all spread out and had great privacy. Will definitely be coming back!
