Visit the nearby Osprey Wilds ELC for hiking and interpretive trails, bike on over to the Munger trail, or learn about native flora at MN Goose Garden. Grindstone Lake is close for dropping a line in the water.  If rock climbing is your thing we are pert near Sandstone's Robinson Park and you can boulder 'til you're older at Banning State Park, too.

This is a special place for us, and for the animals who find food, refuge and nesting grounds here.  To preserve their habitat and provide quality experience for future guests we all need to engage in passive, casual camp activities.  If you are looking to hold a party or reunion you will be happier at one of the fine nearby campgrounds like Grand Casino Hinckley or Banning State Park.

*Update for Summer 2020* - We are undertaking some minor improvements to improve access and land management so we've decided to block out the camping schedule to ensure that guests aren't disturbed by our work and presence.  Please check back at a later date for availability.  Thank you!

The site was gorgeous. There was firewood provided and the bathroom was very clean. Lots of critters to enjoy and the surrounding area was great to look at while sitting by the fire in the morning. Would camp here again!

This was just what we were looking for in getting out of the cities for a weekend. The site is not a farm like I thought it might be. It is more of a meadow with a grove of trees where the tent pads, fire pit and outhouse are located providing good privacy. The road is nearby but it is a dirt backroad that seems to rarely be used.

We liked how there was a tent pad near the fire pit and the toilet was only a couple minutes walk from there. There were a lot of neighbors like cows, turkeys and coyotes that we got to listen to at night and in the morning. Didn’t smell the cows though.

The hosts provided great directions for finding the site as well as a map. Great communication as well. Thanks! We really enjoyed our time camping here and would definitely come back again.
