This was definitely a unique and unforgettable experience, and we will be back! If you’re the type of person that has always dreamed of living on the farm, you are going to love camping here! So many diverse and fun animals, all of which seemed to have their own personalities! Great for picture taking and kids of all ages! The scenery was absolutely beautiful, the amenities and host were all encompassing! Loved meeting Lois, super warm personality and very accommodating. If you’re looking for fresh air, and a big starry night sky, with fun animal sounds...makes sure to try this place out!

Staying here was a complete joy! We had so much fun seeing and interacting with the animals and Lois was a fantastic host! The site we chose was in the alpaca pasture and after they got to know us the alpacas and llamas and sheep would come to say hi whenever we were in sight. The porta potty was very clean and we were provided with everything we wished for our stay. And did I mention Lois was amazing?!

Omigoodness! You are too kind! It was amazing getting to know you and your daughter and sharing the little farm in the woods. I sure hope you can make it back some day!
Campsite was level and dry with plenty of shade. The view of the Farm was perfect and the animals are happy and friendly. Firewood was provided, which is a big plus. We all had a fun and relaxing time .. definitely going back !
We had a wonderful experience camping with the farm animals. The host was very warm and welcoming. Highly recommend.
My family had a great time camping with the critters. Lois and others went out of their way to make sure we were ok. We encountered a thunderstorm on our first night, and we were provided shelter at the barn if we needed it (we did for a short time). The kids loved meeting all of the animals, and inviting them to our campsite (even if we didn't want the special guests at our supper). The location is very close to Lake Vermillion, and you can wander around the upper part of MN, where there are loads of hiking and swimming opportunities (provided you bring insect repellent in the summer). We were also able to do farm yoga, which happens every Thursday night during the summer. I would recommend this site to anyone, as this local business deserves support!
This place is beyond charming! What a wonderful opportunity to interact with animals in a beautiful and unique setting. Lois was the consummate hostess, and her love of the land shows in all her words and actions.
No matter how old you are, this place brings out the happy little kid in everyone. Bring your family and make joyful memories here!
We enjoyed your farm so much! Thank you for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful farm with us.

Our stay was fantastic! We had a very private campsite in a picturesque yak pasture (do you know what a yak is? I didn’t.) The petting zoo was a huge hit for our kids ages 3 and 5. There were many other attractions including a playground and live music. For breakfast we had fresh turkey and chicken eggs over the campfire. This is a great place for kids and adults. It was a welcome reprieve from over crowded public campgrounds. Highly recommend!

Thank you sooo much! It was great getting to meet you and your son! I'm glad all my furry, fuzzy and feathery friends weren't too much!
