If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Site was in a good location. Very beautiful views and not far too cool places, beaches, and hikes. Finding the exact spot isn't the easiest or well marked.
It is on a slant, so pretty hard to find level ground. Not so steep that it's uncampable, but would slide down throughout the night.
Our biggest complaint is about the people staying at the house on the property. I guess they rent the house out and it got pretty loud. The renters were up late and making quite a lot of noise. We messaged the host and she asked them to quiet down.
The renters also walked down to our camp site in the night. They had a flashlight on the tent and kept walking towards it. We had no lights on and were trying to sleep so maybe they thought we weren't there, but I have no idea why they kept walking towards our tent. The got within a few feet before our dog growled them away. I have no idea what the person's intent was before hearing our dog, but it was not a settling experience.
I know I can't blame the host for the actions of this/these people, but she could've definitely explained the boundaries to the people in the house as well as letting us know before hand there was a group staying in the house. To us a stranger came out of the woods towards our tent- we had no reference for who this might be or why they would be out that way.
Overall, I think if they leveled the ground, had better directions/ signs, and were clear about the rules/ boundaries of the house renters and the campsite renters this could be a great place. As is though, it was not the experience we expected. After our visitor we stayed up all night on guard wondering if they might come back.
