Dry sandy Sugar Maple forest with ferns and beautiful forest vegetation.Property is centrally located from a wide variety of adventures including just being yards from well-marked hiking trails that double as snowmobile trails in the winter. Lake Huron swimming available at two beautiful locations within 5 miles of campsite along with Cranberry Lake ATV trails and the Nature Conservancy hiking trails.Travel just 20 miles to Hessel to experience high dining at the Les Cheneaux Culinary School, check for seating availability. Raber Bay is about 4 miles away and has a public boat launch to help start your day of fishing out right. For a longer day trip head 50 miles to Sault Ste. Marie to experience the Soo Locks and the great food and shopping on Portage Ave.
