A very nice overnight stop. Nice site and the hosts were helpful and friendly. Having a brewery onsite and be able to enjoy and not have to drive is a selling point in itself. Definitely would recommend brewery
The vistas and vines were all that we expected and more. Lauren was a friendly host, and we enjoyed exploring the farm and tasting the beer and provisions at the store. Excellent experience! We will come again.
Family of 5 (3 under 8) stay w/ dog
My family just got back from a wonderful stay at Black Rabbit Farm. The farm is charming and sleeping next to a vineyard was a cool experience. The views and surrounding area are gorgeous.
Our tent was to large for the platform so we set up a secondary area for the tent which wasn’t a problem. They had 2 large containers of water waiting for us at the site which was great for hand washing and doing dishes. They also had a dog run already set up which made it convenient for us to keep our dog leashes. The compost toilet was supplied with all the necessities and was a huge perk for us having 2 out of 3 kids potty trained.
The fire pit is large and has a grate for cooking and Lauren has wood right on site you can purchase.
We bought sauces, beer and tonic from them as well. I came home and made a gin and tonic with the elderberry and honey tonic. It’s amazing!
The one “downfall” is closer to homes then I anticipated. We could see into their backyard and heard talking (not loudly and annoying) along with road noise one night. It wasn’t a big deal but wanted to mention. We also went when leaves didn’t fill in the trees
We found a hiking trail on the property and enjoyed an easy 2 mile round trip walk and the ate a picnic lunch in a large clearing.
We would definitely return and try out the farms other campsite which was definitely more secluded and in the woods.
With Covid-19 I appreciated the contactless stay and we truly didn’t see another person the entire time. We felt like we had the entire place to ourselves.
Thanks for the great time!
