I found this lovely property nearly 20 years ago and restored it over many years with my own hands.  In addition to the 1905 farm house, there is a big workshop (also your severe weather shelter), a greenhouse, screen house, hen house, and vegetable garden.  My property backs into hundreds of acres of protected wetland.  I am only one mile from the Pocomoke River and near both the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.  This is a farming area, so aside from the occasional car on the road, you might hear a tractor or combine.  It's a very, very quiet place.

    A peaceful forest retreat!
    Diana is a wonderful host and this was a wonderful site to camp in away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the world. True primitive camping but with small amenities such as an outdoor shower, a composting toilet and firewood. Diana keeps a small flock of chickens who provided me with breakfast eggs and more than a few giggles. I absolutely recommend renting a kayak from Diana and exploring the nearby Chesapeake Bay by water. Total serentity!
