We have a beautiful, thickly forested 16 acres 30 minutes from coastal Belfast near the Common Ground fairgrounds and Unity Pond / Lake Winnecook in Unity. A right-of-way going through our property offers great viewing, walking, biking, ATVing, horseback riding, birding, xc skiing, or snowmobiling. Splash in either of two streams to escape the bugs or heat. Or, give us tips on our new disc golf course. You will select from a variety of primitive campsites offering private commune with nature, but the nearby town of Unity can satisfy your need for music, drinks, or socializing. We recommend you bring your own water, as the creeks are far and of questionable quality!

Nice, quiet, out of the way, thickly wooded area with warm, personable hosts.

The hosts are friendly and helpful! The site is off in a pretty dense forest, very private and a little bit of a walk from the parking near their cabin. Best to get water before you come. Lovely spot!

The hosts were super! I loved the area, with all the farms nearby. We recommend this campground for tent campers, as it is a bit uneven for trailers

Many Mini Hills Forest is a wonderful place! We had a lovely time camping on soft pine needles in beautiful woods. It feels like the backcountry with the convenience of having your car and the town of Unity close by. The hosts are warm, friendly, and very helpful and I can’t wait to see what they do as they continue to improve their new home! It was perfect for our trip to the Common Ground Fair– after a long day at the fair, we enjoyed hanging out in the woods and cooking dinner over the fire. We wish we’d had more time to hang out!

Great host and a great site. It is a little walk to the site through a thick forest. The dog enjoyed the swimming hole. Pack the bug spray because you are near a creek. Great place to camp.

Stayed one night. Great communication with hosts. Camp was as described. Well done, you.
I pretty much, set up where i wanted, used thr rear (2nd) firepit. Cooked, chilled, slept good.
Had a cool Owl experience. Not a sighting, but vocal, 3 of them, one had to be massive. It was really cool. And, a duet of woodpeckers...again, one was a Mega-Woodpecker, I swear. Sounded like it was pecking a PA system mic. Wow. Kinda, magical back there, ha, really. Had a blast.

Catherine and Mark were extremely friendly, helpful and hospitable. They had friendly dogs and chickens!
There were a couple tent sites to chose from and they were equally clean and private.
The hosts were kind, they supplied clean buckets for compost and trash and had a great setup for a camp style commode!
We wanted to bring our son for one last memorable trip for summer. They had many fun lessons to teach and help him explore this weekend. They were more than hosts, we feel like we left with new friends. Our son had a blast on the campsite and the whole weekend. They definitely catered to making sure he had as many opportunities as possible. They also knew of fun swim spots and other attractions around. We will definitely be returning with hopes to have more time to enjoy this beautiful area. There are also many local small business such as farms to explore.
