Gartland getaway was an amazing hipcamp retreat. It is on a pretty secluded lake it was comfortable and I would definitely go back to visit again.

View of the house The view of the house from the road.
The house does not have an outhouse but rather an outhouse across the street from the house.
The exterior of the outhouse is made to match the color of the cottage. Stairs to the sleeping area. Front Porch overlooking the Lake front Gartland property.

Our host chuck was great! The camp was perfect and had everything we needed. We used the canoe to paddle around the pond and catch native brook trout. Having a fire right on the water is hard to beat. The sunsets at the camp are tremendous. I can’t wait to go back.
