Quiet, safe and lovely spot
Brenda is a fantastic host. She has a wonderful spot with all the amenities you need whether you’re in an RV or a tent. Her place is safe, family friendly and a great location for Topeka and surrounding areas. We’d definitely stay again.
My son and I came up for the Jr. Disc Golf World Chps. Brenda was the greatest host. When I realized I forgot my propane tank she was all, "will this work" as she brings out a propane tank. When the bugs started getting going one night, she came out with bug candles that actually worked. She was very generous and helpful. If you're wanting to have access to Emporia without the people, and like camping, this is the place. It's like visiting family, err, at least the ones you like.
Very cold but nice get away
We were just looking for a night away for my husband’s birthday and he wanted to do a family camping trip. Brenda was a great host, very friendly and accommodating. It was a very cold night but before bed Brenda brought more firewood to the fire pit. We had fun. Thank you.
Brenda was fantastic. We were moving from Ohio to Colorado and it was the perfect stopping point to sleep for the night. Safe, and everything we needed. Brenda was there for our late night arrival to make sure we were totally good. Lovely farm and property, wish we could have stayed longer!
Friendly and relaxing atmosphere!
Owner was kind and gave helpful suggestions on travel ideas that were of interest to us. The camp site was peaceful and a great place to get away from work!
So much fun!!!!
We had such a great time! If you go with kiddos, be sure to take their bikes. Our girls rode down and back the gravel entrance road at least a hundred times!
Our dog Charlie loved running free on the farm and swimming in the pond. Brenda the host was great. She checked in on us to make sure we were good to go and had everything we needed, but also left us to explore her beautiful farm.
The kiddos and our dog enjoyed seeing the new kittens, chickens, and mules. We were able to let our dog Charlie just run loose and enjoy the space, I don’t think we had a leash on him one time.
Full hookups your own fire pit and plenty of privacy (even if other campers are there, if you’re in an RV, you will have plenty of privacy!!)
We will be heading back very soon!!!
