Our favorite hipcamp yet!
We had a great 1-night stay at Windy Goat Acres. The cabin was extremely clean and we were able to feel safe and cozy during the covid19 pandemic. Jessica was friendly and fun to chat with while our pups played around the yard. Also, I’m not sure what kind of mattresses they have in the cabin, but they might’ve been the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on.
We have now stayed at Windy Goat Acres 2 times, despite living over 700 miles away. We can confirm that the mattresses are just as comfy as our first time around and that the small cabin was just as delightful. This time we also stuck around a bit longer to mingle with the animals and took a bottle of Jim and Jessica’s homemade, blackberry wine with us. Thanks again!
We had a wonderful time staying at Windy Goat Acres. The hosts were wonderful and very welcoming and the little cabin we stayed in was extremely clean and cozy. The outdoor bathroom was nice and clean as well. The beds in the cabin were some of the comfiest I have ever slept in. There are also tons of animals on the farm that you can walk around and look at. Overall it was a wonderful experience.
Friendly farm escape
What a great place! The small cabin is very clean and comfortable, with cozy and artistic touches. The property is beautiful and Jessica welcomes guests to enjoy all parts of it. Their dog, Finn, is is a great playmate for visiting dogs! We definitely plan to stay there again.
This place was just wonderful, I can't wait to come back during the summer. Was so peaceful and wonderful ground to explore. The animals were all so neat. There is nothing that compares to being in the country. Thank you for sharing your place with me. Gayla
Great stay, great host!
Everything was very lovely and welcoming! Jessica included so many thoughtful details and was great about helping out or providing any direction or assistance that was needed. The cabin was clean, warm, and artsy, and even though things were pretty snowed under, there was still plenty to do and see. We would definitely stay here again.
Loved the goat farm
We had an absolute BLAST here! The host was very accommodating and there were very nice amenities. The hot chocolate bar was so cute! We got to meet two baby goats that were born during our stay and enjoyed all the other animals here. We would definitely come back in the summertime!
