Heritage Farm is a working alpaca farm with over 50 alpacas you can watch and interact with. Make friends with our black Labrador, Juno. Also residing on the farm are a flock of chickens, 4 goats, several barn cats and our horse, Stormy. If you want to, you can help with the daily chores of feeding the animals and collecting eggs. After that, you can explore the big red barn that was selected as one of the top-ten Bicentennial barns in the state. Roam around the 120 acre homestead, woods and creek and soak in the sights, sounds and smells of the farm.
Activities for kids include helping with farm chores, hiking trails, wading in the creek and swinging on the large platform swing.
Be sure to visit our farm store before you leave where you can shop for alpaca products such as sweaters, hats, mittens and scarves. Pick up some honey made from bees on our farm or some farm fresh eggs from our flock of pastured chickens!

This farm is such a treasure! The hosts, Tim and Beth are incredibly warm and hospitable. They really made you feel at home. If home was a gorgeous lush farmstead complete with the peaceful sounds of a trickling creek. Only an hour away from the big city it makes for the perfect weekend getaway! There are endless things to do and see. Our favorite was ham mocking in the back woods. You can even go into kokomo to antique! We've already started recommending it to friends and finding a time to go back! Really such a beautiful place.

Beautiful, very spacious and private campsite. Tim and Beth were amazing hosts. They have kittens and a lot of alpacas. We absolutely loved our stay and would like to come back!
So we LOVED the actual campsite, it was maybe one of the nicest sites we've stayed at, private, pretty quiet, level, grassy, two nice park benches etc... If you just want to camp at a nice private place without any frills near a beautiful little farm, this is where you should go. Buuutt... Here's the problem, we drove 3 hours and paid a fair amount of money to this specific place because it looked like the kids could play in the creek simply and we could do the farm tour, my wife could see the shop etc... Unfortunately the owner never actually offered the farm tour to us that we paid for nor was my wife able to check out the farm store. I reminded the gentlemen a couple of times upon arrival that we paid for the farm tour, they never followed up, he seemed very nice but I shouldn't have to remind a host of something like that, and I didn't want to upset my wife or kids about the tour so I didn't bring it up with the host again. Second thing that upset me was the creek, the pictures and description make it seem like a very nice creek for the kids to play in. In fact it's very muddy with pretty steep banks. We were able to get the kids in and they were able to have some fun with the water but my son found a steel headed arrow in the creek, so I'm not sure how well it is searched for debris or maintained.
AMAZING. We loved this farm. Its so beautiful and the hosts are wonderful and very hospitable. If youre looking for a truly beautiful site to camp this is it!

this place is amazing!!! The alpacas are beautiful, the creek is refreshing and the hosts are so incredibly sweet and hospitable. Loved this campsite!

Perfect private remote camping for a family. Kids loved the alpacas and tyre swing. Great hosts. Spotlessly clean toilet and shower. We’d definitely go again (we’re a family of 4 with 2 kids age 4 and 6).

Dan, we certainly enjoyed having your family stay with us. We would love you have you return another time!
Great Place!
Amazing property and hosts! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the property. Beautiful camp sites with plenty of space for the kids to explore. The kids loved the swing, animals and creek. We can’t wait to go back!
