No tent needed! We have built a small building just for sleeping in. It's 4 foot tall, 4 foot wide and 8 feet long. It has windows and doors so you can just pull in and be setup in a matter of seconds. It's off the ground has plenty of windows and a big door with a screen so you can stay cool and dry in any weather. TIt's in a prime location that is close to the outhouse, shower house and Tree Web and has it's own small yard in front of it with a fire pit. 2 people can fit in the Cozy Camping Cottage but if you want to have more people they can camp for $10 per person. You can add them here or book through the Black Walnut Grove listing. It is the same either way you do it.
I will be happy to refund your cleaning fee after checkout if you'd prefer to bring your own sheets and blankets (and you tell me ahead of time).
We are on a solar powered, off the grid, 60 acre homestead that has 54 acres of wooded land and 6 acres of groomed land. Come explore our land and relax in the "Tree Web", see the 2 story tree house that I live in, have fun on the tire swing, or just sit and enjoy all that nature has to offer. You can explore our interesting topography that has close to 100 foot of elevation changes, our (mostly) dry creek system that starts with 2 springs that drain into 3 sinkholes or walk 3 miles of trails (if you follow each trail from end to end).
We love groups - Host your event here or have a group gathering with all your friends and family. We have spaces large enough to host hundreds of people.

Kerry was very friendly and his land is a great adventure! It was an amazing experience for my family and I for an over night stay in our way to Nashville. Kerry stayed up waiting to make sure that we found the place fine and woke up and hung out and talked with us a little. Thank you Kerry it was wonderful to make a new friend and we will be back! :)
I had a very beautiful stay. We were welcomed in the kindest way by the host. He was very accommodating and informative. I would recommend this place to anybody who is looking for a little weekend get away. We are very excited to go back and already planning our next trip!
Lovely place + a hot shower
Our experience far exceeded our expectations! Kerry was an excellent host who went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. I especially loved the fact that there was a hot shower. We look forward to returning!
Happy hollow made us happy
Our family had a great time at Happy Hollow Homestead. We had a selection of places to set up camp and felt like we were the only folks in the world while we were there. The privacy was unbelievable! The bathroom was well maintained and convenient, and the ambiance of the property was whimsical while continuing to be nature oriented. We enjoyed climbing the tree net and hiking while we were there. We will certainly return
