We have 50 acres located in Southern Illinois 4 miles south of Murphysboro connected to 100 acres of Shawnee National forest.We set up a small family primitive campground for our family to enjoy every evening we ride our utv over from our house and watch the wildlife there are deer turkeys bobcats and many other small animal. Learn more about this land: Mostly suitable for Rv with generators and self contained unitsDead Center For Totality Eclipse Viewing, Free Shuttle Bus to Big Muddy Brewing, restaurants, shopping and other attractions (Eclipse Weekend). Mostly suitable for Rv with generators, primitive camping with tents, pets are fine but just keep your kids on a leash (just kidding). Toilets Available Eclipse Weekend. Surround by the Shawnee National Forest.3 night minimum during eclipse weekend

We had a great time during our stay. Aside from watching the eclipse, we took so walks on the property. The crowd was busy for the eclipse weekend,, I would recommend a visit during a normal weekend, as the property is close to many beautiful hikes. Host was welcoming and accommodating

Loved our stay
We had a great time watching that eclipse at this campsite. David and his friends were very accommodating. Would recommend his field in anytime.

I tent camped here for the solar eclipse. Nice property with lots of room to spread out.
