The sites are just a short walk from our shower/restroom facility. The fishing ponds are just a quarter mile walk from the campsites, and access to the numerous trails throughout our 940-acre property is directly from the campsites. While we have four designated sites, it is rare for all to be full, and likely that you'll be the only campers here most days. We are located in a very remote/rural part of Illinois in a county nestled between the Mississippi & Illinois Rivers, but only 75 miles north of downtown St. Louis. We have been included in John Shirle's "The Best in Tent Camping: Illinois."

This was gorgeous and secluded. It feels super secret and private. We saw maybe four cars the entire weekend, and were the only campers. Every once in a while a horse and rider would come by. Pristine bathrooms and great hiking, too!
Everything is donation-based, so be sure to bring some cash so you can pull your weight.
Thank you to McCully for sharing the land with campers.
This was a wonderful, private location with a plethora of wood and beautiful, scenic hikes. This is one of the best camping locations I've ever been to.

Private and beautiful campsite with many acres of nature preserve to explore. You can go hiking, mushroom picking, creek swimming, bird and star watching, horse riding, etc.

Fantastic site!! Very well maintained!! Next time will have to check out trails. Bathroom/shower area very clean. Firewood was complementary and very much appreciated!! Beautiful scenery, highly recommend!!
This was a great find! Only four camp spots - we were in number 3 - and since it’s off the beaten track, no car noises, no lights, no loud campers next to you. And even better, the bathrooms (with showers) were very clean and well stocked. No spiders hiding in corners! It was immaculate really. Fire wood in site with great fire pits ready to go. Plenty of trails across the road and onto the hills. Heard plenty of owls, coyotes in the distance, and birds of all sorts. Great place and will definitely go back.
Fantastic. I would absolutely go here again and recommend others to go here. The facilities are great. The sites aren't extremely far apart, but they are private enough

Great Hiking and camping spot north of St. Louis. Host is super nice. The 4 separate shower rooms are very nice.
