This was such a great and unexpected spot in Idaho! The drive to the property from Boise was seriously gorgeous! You follow the river and green rolling hills until you get to the Sawtooth Soul property that is tucked away below the road right next to the river. The property is easily accessible for vans/RV's with plenty of room to spare. It's your own private oasis right next to the river and mountains and right down the street from hot springs. I strongly encourage you to walk down the road to the hot springs and take a dip! This was such a gem in the mountains of Boise. We plan on coming back whenever we are in town!

We loved our stay! Anne is great and provided excellent recommendations. She suggested we book a river trip with the Payette River Company and it was awesome! Her land is close to restaurants and gas but feels very remote. It is next to the Payette River and it is wonderful to hear the sound of the river as you sleep!
We were in town for a Saturday night only and were having many troubles finding a campground/site around Boise that had availability. We were fortunate enough to have stumbled onto HipCamp through a simple Google search and ended up having one of the best nights of the year!
Sawtooth Soul as read in the description, is quite literally in between two hot spring locations and right next to the Payette River. One of the hot springs is the Kirkham Hot Springs which is a public location along the river about a 1000 foot walk down from the property, walking would save the $5 parking fee at these springs! The other spring is the Haven Hot Springs, which is a super affordable man made spring pool! This is only a couple hundred feet up the road the opposite direction. Haven also has a convenience store with firewood, ice, and beer! The best is that it has a restaurant as well where we had an amazing ribeye steak and salmon filet along with great views and friendly people! We ended up hanging there for most of the night and had many good conversations with the owners of the Haven Hot springs!
For Sawtooth Soul itself, we were amazed with the variety of options the property would allow for any type of camping needs. We are hammock campers and there were at least 6 different areas that we could hang to sleep! We choose to hang from two trees that were directly next to a hill that went straight down to the rushing river. We were even more impressed that we did not have to use our bug net (Middle of June) as there were no mosquitos at all! The property camping area is huge and mostly flat. The fire pit was huge as well and well maintained. The porta potty was very very clean and easy to find and the same for the water and electrical that is on-site. Finding the location was a breeze and is actually fun as it is a "hidden" (not marked) entrance which is great for safety purposes.
Overall we recommend this site to anyone looking to be in a private camping area that is very close to many enjoyable attractions! We loved the whole experience, thank you for putting your property on here Anne!!!!

Beautiful campsite overlooking the river! After a little trouble finding the place (no service in the area, but grabbed the wifi from the Haven Cafe which ended up being literally across the street), we were able to get in + set up with no problems. There's a great trail down to the river, where there's a little shallow eddy for swimming. Great experience, would be happy to return!
We enjoyed Sawtooth Soul for our eclipse adventure. Being on the river was beautiful, and it could not have been a more perfect, quiet and peaceful spot for the eclipse. The short, steep hike to the Payette River was not hard. The hot springs just down the road were amazing. Large spot with privacy.

Great river view, really enjoyed having the spot to ourselves 😎⛰🏕
Big, open, and spacious. There are great views of the river and you're about a half-mile drive from the hot springs.
Beautiful area, and we enjoyed the privacy of this campsite. Wish you could actually access the river from it, but the views sure were stunning!
Great spot, nice and private if you are looking to get away from the public camp sitesin Boise national forest. There's a river view and lots of shade and privacy from trees. It's super close to the hot springs and a short drive from lots of other great activities.
