Awesome hosts let us choose our favorite spot. After we picked a spot they very courteously moved the picnic table, fire pit, and the provided firewood. The grounds were well kept and bathrooms clean. The place was beautiful with some awesome animals like horses and a goat. It was beautifully lit and the oak trees made for a wonderfully peaceful and enjoyable experience. Our family loved the experience
I was surprised at all the decorations, it was wonderful. The site is well kept and Kay has started a Bistro on the site that I am sure it better than any place in town, even as a start up. The also have beautiful horses. I highly recommend the Newall Lodge. John
Beautiful setting and great host
We had a wonderful stay at Buffalo Creek. The site was so beautiful and serene and the hosts very friendly and helpful. All the hookups are there and there is wifi near the office building. The kids loved the horses and there is even a small playground. Highly recommend it and would stay again. Thanks!
Beautiful spot, super hosts.
A beautiful isolated spot down a long dirt road (might be difficult in wet conditions). Couldn’t get wifi reception in the bldg (maybe a password issue). Very open area with lots of spots but we were all alone ( lucky us). Hosts were outstanding and welcome packet was very informative. If I’m in the area I’ll be back.
Mossy oak hideaway
We had a delightful time! Our hosts helped us find a spot for parking on a large lovely equine resort! We set up camp and then enjoyed a walk through the mossy strewn oaks, to the open stables where we were allowed to visit with their gentle horses. We were pleasantly surprised to find out they have a Bistro open on weekend nights. The meal was exceptional! If you like southern country charm. You’ll love every minute!
