Stunning 35 acre farm set in the middle of an active farmstead. Surrounded on all sides by lush pine forest. Enjoy the sound of silence. Amazing views of the sky and nature. Hiking and groceries are available close by.

Multiple sites available , take your pick if tent camping (Sorry RV'ers, the bunkhouse site is a little tight but if you have a tent you're welcome to set it up there).  Only one guest group at a time permitted (HipCamp wont let me limit campers if I create a second listing).

Water is not available after 10/25. Manual pumps still not operational.

Shower is now closed 10/25.

Porta potty access is available.

No dumping, sorry, I dont have a place for it.

RV power hookup is available but quite a distance from the camp sites.

There is a bunkhouse on site as well as a sink for washing up. You may camp there if you wish but the area is not large enough for an RV. This area is located at the front of the property on the right as you pass the gates. If the bunkhouse is in use the property will not be available as I only allow one group at a time other than myself on the property. You can be assured of quiet and privacy.

If you need a longer term stay, weeks to months, send me a message and we will arrange something.

The Chickens have just started laying 7/14/21. I will try to keep at least 2 dozen on hand but more may be available.

John’s place is great. Nice, wooded campsite with plenty of firewood, chairs, tables, etc. Loved the outdoor shower as well! He was also very welcoming- showed me around his farm, introduced one of his chickens, gave me some free eggs. Will definitely be back if I’m in the area again!

Glacier Ridge farm was fantastic. It was peaceful and well-kept and lived up to or surpassed all expectations from the posting. There were a couple of different camp sites to choose from. John is a friendly and helpful host - he even brought our kids into the chicken yard to meet the chickens and took us all on a tour of the old barn and bunkhouse. Each campsite has both a fire ring and a charcoal grill and sites are large and level. The port-a-potty was clean. And the outdoor shower is fantastic - a large stall behind the barn where you have both privacy and a great view out over the fields (plus hot water!). We'd happily stay there again!

John has a very beautiful place! When we got there, he showed us around the farm and introduced us to the chickens. There were two spots to stay at, and we chose the secluded one in the woods. He supplied us more than enough firewood, and let us use the porch of this small cabin to chill on. The outdoor shower was awesome and really fun to use! John is obviously proud of his place, rightfully so. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone passing by.

Beautiful property tucked away. John had good communication and showed us around the property and then later joined us and told us about the history. Would come back 100%
