My stars, everything was just so magical. We had the best time. Our host, Ron, couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Everything was just as the pictured… Except for the goats are way way cuter and there’s even a new pig. Highly recommended!!

It was quiet and private. The ground was pretty wet getting back to a camping by spot because of all of the rain, but I was able to find some high-and-dry places.

Place was really nice, the area that we stayed was very secluded and private. Ron was a excellent host, we got their relatively late and was still up to give us the grand tour of his property and the run down of the area we would be camping at. Generously gave us the flexibility of moving our campsite if we wanted to be in the open field he has to gaze at the open sky.

Only unfortunate thing for my people out there who have allergies to rag weed and what have you, is the giant open field that breezes into the camp. But on the bright side, that funnel of air feels great and it’s only that specific site.

Would highly recommend!

Ron's property provided the perfect get away from the big city. Just an hour from Chicago it's very accessible. The space is quiet and secluded. Throughout the woods Ron has cleared a few walking paths as well as a campsite equipped with a firepit and beautiful views of the prairie. We could not have been more pleased with our visit.

We were able to cook everything by camp fireView of the prairie adjacent to campThe dog played fetch for hours in the beautifully groomed fieldThe dog love exploring the land
