Gather around the campfire pit in the evenings for fireside chats and savor the tranquility of the night. For your comfort and privacy, we provide sheltered outhouses on the property. Zen Rose Camp

A most perfect cold, rainy weekend!

Last week, I woke up to a drizzly morning, made coffee and while watching the rain thought to myself...I wanna go camping and hear the rain on my tent. Checked out listings and decided...this is the one! And it was even more amazing in person! Yin was incredibly communicative, gave excellent directions, also super thoughtful, checking in with me to make sure I was finding everything and getting settled in alright. I set up my tent next to the sheltered area, where there was a cooking table and picnic table. The property is absolutely beautiful, and spacious. for the first time ever, I felt comfortable letting my dog off leash thinking he'd have a blast running wild. Nope, stuck right by me! But he would get so excited when we walked down to the pond, and I don't blame him. It's like a secluded little world, I brought my chair and kindle and read while he investigated all the things. I only checked out Outhouse 1, mostly used Bathroom 2, but both were clean and nice, 2 just is more spacious with mirrors and a way to hang my stuff which was super convenient. Due to the rain, I wasn't able to start a fire, but the fire pit is very nice, and plenty of wood and kindling around. Just..overall, very well stocked and maintained and really so much more than I expected. And yes, I got to fall asleep both nights listening to the rain tapping on my tent... A most amazing weekend...Zen Rose lives up to its name a million times over!

Zen Rose Camp

When our original camping plans fell through, we were able to find this great campsite and reserve it last minute. Yin was very communicative and an exceptional host! We enjoyed staying on the property and having the spot to ourselves. It was peaceful and close to two beautiful state parks. The neighbors were super nice and even directed us to some local spots. It was a fun, relaxing trip!

Zen Rose Camp

Very quiet and peaceful site. Lots of privacy but not too secluded. Yin was a pleasure to interact with the entire time and really made sure I was well taken care of. Highly recommended for solo campers or groups.

Zen Rose Camp

Zen rose is small/primitive, newly established campground. we enjoyed our 4 day tent camping trip ! Yin our host was great at communicating and welcomed us to make ourselves at home . We're excited to see what other updates they implement it really is a beautiful little peice of land!

Yin was very communicative and accommodating. Love the set up. Would recommend that if you want privacy check in with her to make sure no one else is there. We had the whole place to ourselves and it was great! Definitely would book again.

Zen Rose Camp

This is definitely a little gem

This is definitely a little gem. I really enjoyed this campsite. The sheltered picnic and toilets were very useful and appreciated. Saw some deer in the trees and frogs in the pond. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. We also enjoyed a nice campfire.
