This campsite provides a large, creek side beach, hanging swings, fire pit and room for at least 5 tents either near the creek (3+ tents) or in the Cedar Grove (2 small sites) and plenty of room for tons of Hammocks.  A truly magical spot and easy access with summer connection "fallen wooded" bridge from parking to campsite. The "hike-in campsite" is a less then 1 min hike during summer.  Be prepared to wear hiking shoes or even boots during the wet months and will have to take the extend trail when creek is at high water levels in Winter and early Spring. This campsite is a rare gem-nestled quietly on the Little Wind River. These beloved woods are the remaining part of the once vast, St. Martin homestead-started in the late 1800's. Our family ties and our roots grow very deeply in these woods-we've been born and raised here and continue to strive to be good stewards of these lands. You might just see some of us around on the network of trails and rivers that you can explore-if you wish.  We recommend at least staying for two days to get the most out of this Hipcamp experience!  Park, Camp, Enjoy...and be safe and respectful to nature and yourselves! Thanks :)

The place was nice and very private. Not quite sure why there was a fee of $70. It was just a primitive camp site with no services and was difficult to find. I have been camping in the cascades and fees are averaging about $20 for beautiful camp sites and some have shower services.

Hey Steve, The fee is part of the 5 people you can have to your booking plus additional cars at no charge. If you spilt up the price it's around 15$ per person. It's affordable if you bring your friends. Which this is all about! Go drive 2 hours to your favorite spot in the high hills it will cost just as much! Thanks for camping with us have a great rest of summer. Chris WWR 5th Hipcamp season camp host

This place is just amazing. The stream next to the site and the swings were extremely popular with my daughter. There are other camp sites on the property but they are are all a good distance away and we couldn’t see them at all from our site. The Wind River, the hotsprings and the trails around the property kept us easily busy for two great days. We usually go car camping and although getting the cooler over the small plank bridge was a challenge, it is doable and we were able to get all our gear down to the site no problem. A beautiful campsite with lots to do nearby.

This was a beautiful camp spot. We spent a lot of time sitting along the Little Wind River and relaxing into the rhythm of the nature around us. The site felt very private and the sound of the creek mostly drowned out noise from any other campers.

We had the Cedar Beach (Cedar Grove) campsite and it was phenomenal. I cant speak to the other sites but this one was down on the stream with the lovely babbling brooke sounds. 10/10 would recommend and saved for future stays. I cant speak to the hot springs or any trails or anything, this was a stop on a road trip so i wasnt here terribly long and stayed at the campsite the entire time.

Beautiful place! Primitive campsite- would recommend overall, but for the price wished there was at least a picnic table. I guess people go here to access the hotsprings more then anything, which is worth it.

Updates every year. I'll add one next year and some more areas for tents on the Island itself and in the Cedar Grove. Thanks for the Feedback!
