Thanks for checking out our little sanctuary, nestled upon 5 acres near the tip of the Steamboat Peninsula. Steamboat Meadows offers campers a stress free and an affordable option. Currently with 5 campsites (only 1 site currently available until we open up the remaining sites on September 15th). Two of the new sites will be much different than anything we've offered in the past. We're working on the finishing touches to "Terrapin Suite", a 640sqft barn structure, yet modern and fully furnished. Terrapin Suite offers incredible views and all the amenities commonly found in a tiny home. The second site coming in the late spring of 2024, is a glamping site with a Canvas Bell tent, queen bed, spring water, rugs, solar power, and electric cook surface.
Please note: for the remainder of September we will relocating a few sites to offer a more private and wilderness like experience. Additionally, we want to ensure that our neighbors enjoy the serenity they live here for. This is a space to recreate, but most importantly a space to "get away" and reset.
All guests have access to WIFI-, private indoor bathroom with shower, and chill room to relax, charge devices and plan your next adventure.
During fire bans, NO FIRES WILL BE ALLLOWED. Propane stoves may be used in the gravel driveway or on tables.
Campers are invited to walk the property which has a couple short hiking loops in the back and hammocks for relaxing. Campground offers activities for chill time, which include table tennis, corn hole and a 4 hole disc golf course. On hot days, we also have a misting tent surrounded by fruit trees.
During your stay, you'll be in the sweet spot and just 1.5 hours to either Mount Rainer and/or Olympic National Parks. 20 minutes from Olympia, 5 minutes to the local Steamboat General Store.
Steamboat Meadows will be closing for the season at the end of September. During our seasonal closure, we will building two new loop trails through the forest and a board walk to better experience the wetlands. Other improvements include, aerial shade structures, locally milled handmade benches, and LED wide angle UV lighting for easy navigation on the property.
Please contact us if you have any questions. More photos coming soon.
Cheers,
Rob
