Completely surrounded by other undeveloped properties. No one around for miles. We can accommodate large groups up to 50 people. Only one other campsite on the property over 1/4 mile apart. Trails are shared for both sites. Our neighbor has a cattle pasture Southeast of the campsite about 200 yards and occasionally uses that neighboring field for quad riding and shooting sports. We try to communicate our usage schedules to avoid conflicting use, but cannot prevent them from using their property.

If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
The property was easy to find and just as described by the wonderful host, Jack. He met us and showed us the property. It was nestled in rolling hills that reflected the most beautiful sunset. We set up camp, adventured around with our two pups, relaxed and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The property is secluded and therefore you have the joy of hearing nothing but the wildlife. No cars, no people, nothing. It was the perfect getaway!
Nice secluded spot
I took my family here for a two night camping trip. We really enjoyed the property and the owner has taken great care of the spot. There are two spots that I know of (one lower and one upper) and both can accommodate a large family. We stayed on the lower site and there was a picnic table and a porta-potty available as well as a fire ring for camp fires.
Make sure you listen to the owner and his son when they tell you to stay on the maintained trails. We ended up getting lost and luckily were able to find our way back after many hours. If you stay on the mowed/maintained trails you will not get lost. This was completely our fault.
Overall we had a fantastic time at Thick Forest Seclusion and I would recommend.
We had a wonderful time camping here and exploring the trails. I highly recommend star-gazing in the grassy area near the camp site. It was a breathtaking view! I would recommend this site to anyone and hope to come back soon.
Remote and private is the best way to describe this location. I've been two weeks in a row and love it. I love how quiet it is - hardly any cars pass by, the coyotes howl a few times, and there was a resident owl somewhere not too far away. There is plenty of property to walk and explore. And Jack is a wonderful host!
We had a great time at Remote and Private. It is exactly as described. After a brief orientation with the owner, we only saw one other person our entire stay, which was his father checking in to see if we needed anything. There is a good amount of trails to explore that are well maintained. It is very quiet there with a large amount of wildlife activity. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this site to anyone!
I had a wonderful experience camping at Remote and Private. I was greeted by Jack and his beautiful golden retriever Bella and escorted to the camping area. There are no real amenities, except for a bucket and a shovel to manage the fire pit and Jack filled the bucket with water from the creek and brought it over for me. I had a great fire and a comfortable sleep, and in the morning hiked the paths around the campground for a good forty minutes or so through grassy wooded areas to a lookout at neighboring farms. Jack was really friendly and accommodating, thanks again!
Remote & Private was a great destination after a short 1 1/2 hour drive from Seattle. It was the only camp site on the property so I had a lot of privacy. Jack, host, took the time to show me all the ins and outs of his ATV, which I had a blast driving all weekend, and the layout of the property. His dogs were great and really friendly with my dog.
I was able to reach the camp site with the ATV with all of my gear packed in one trip. I chose to not chance the drive down the trail in my fwd.
I'd highly recommend Remote & Private for a relaxing weekend.
