The property is filled with wild life. Mornings will be greeted with birdsong and our fields occasionally with elk, dear, and coyotes. Camping near mt. ranier
The campsites are quiet and spaced well apart to offer privacy. This land is only an hour away from Mt. Ranier National Park.
The hosts are so kind and accommodating and there was plenty of wood for our fire as well as chairs to sit on and a picnic table.
Wide open space that is private. Clear beautiful sky. Nice fire pit and free wood (first bundle). Clean and well-made outhouse. Easy area to pitch tent and enjoy quiet time in nature. Clear and easy communication. If ever get lost finding the entrance, Jennifer will help guide you! This was my first hipcamp experience. Would definitely return again!
We stayed on the first campsite which was open and flat and perfect for pitching a tent. The area was big and had good space for 2 families. We got lost but the neighbor was kind enough to tell us the direction. The host was nice and accommodating. The toilet/restroom was clean. There was a complimentary firewood as well. Overall, good experience.
Car camping with quiet!
Our stay was fantastic!
We can’t wait to go again. The best part was how quiet our site was and how far we were from the next site. We really got the feeling that we were on our own. They are just starting out and at that time that wasn’t a sign, so call ahead so they can watch out for you.
Camping over the weekend
The land was good, flat spot for fire and tent. Campspots are all a good distance apart and there was an outhouse (does not smell; very clean!) Host met us and led us to the site, chatted for 2 mins and left us to enjoy our stay. Our specific spot does not have much shade but it looked like the other spots do. Regardless it was a great time. Only recommendations is signs.
Beautiful spaceous + setup for fun!
We had a fantastic time! Jennifer is super kind and helpful, and we loved all the trees and shade at the site. The outhouse composting toilet was clean and actually didn't smell. We loved the little extras already set up like a couple chairs, 2 tree stump seats and a picnic table. Also she provided one night's amount of firewood with more available to purchase.
This site had so much space too! I would recommend closed toed shoes and maybe a small rake since all those beautiful trees drop lots of pinecones.
Also be prepared for lots of dirt and dust. Our kiddos were covered head to toe after a truely fun celebration to the end of summer break.
