Great western-facing view for stargazing with a great view Cle Elum Lake. Peace of mind knowing the site is within a gated community. The site is a bit rocky but my dog managed gingerly.

Private with great views
The site is is very private. Once you're in there is no sign of the neighborhood you drive through to get in. The views are also great. The only downside is the lack of shade which can get quite hot during peak sun. But chances are if you're booking here it's not to sit around camp all day so it isn't too big of a deal.

This spot was very easy to get to. The start at night were brilliant. I feel this is a great place for a base location if you like to go hiking or other adventures. We had our adventure kitty with us and he did great on the rocks. You could put up a tent if you had a cot but i would not recommend it.

Joan the owner is very responsive and understanding! Her spot is through a gated residential community. The hipcamp spot photos are accurate with amazingly beautiful view of Lake Cle Elum and mountains. There is nothing to do once you get to the spot (e.g., no trails). Unfortunately, the rocks were too sharp for my pup's paws so we had to leave a day early.
