Located in a quaint woodsy neighborhood, our property is a mere 12-minute drive from the Kingston Ferry. Nestled on a wooded lot spanning 1/3 acre, you'll find yourself surrounded by majestic tall firs, cedars, maples, and lush ferns. Most of the neighboring lots are vacant, contributing to the serene atmosphere. Just a short 10-minute walk away, a community trail leads you to a private beach, perfect for leisurely strolls and breathtaking views. Within a 3/4 mile distance, you'll discover a convenient country store boasting a pier and a south-facing beach. Enjoy the tranquility and serenity of this coastal retreat. We offer hose and power connections from the house, and there's even an indoor half bathroom available for your comfort. Unwind and gather around our bonfire stove or fire pit, creating memories and sharing stories late into the night. Fishing enthusiasts will appreciate the abundant opportunities in the local bay, while stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking offer exhilarating experiences. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the area by exploring the nearby walking trails. Don't forget to visit the nearby farmstand, where you can sample fresh produce. As we are near neighbors, we ask for only quiet guests and dogs on leashes please to respect nearby families. They are all lovely, friendly folks.Pitch a tent in my backyard (one next door neighbor but otherwise surrounded by woods) or park your van in my driveway and enjoy the tall PNW firs, cedars, maples and ferns in this quaint community. We are 12 mins away from the Kingston ferry. The land is historic tribal reservation land of the Suquamish Tribe but privately owned with access to a community beach and country store within a 15-minute trail walk. Great for paddleboarding or kayaking. I have a bonfire set up and camp spot in the woods or in the yard for camping -although there currently is a fire ban. As we are near neighbors, we ask for only quiet guests and dogs on leashes please to respect nearby families. Use of indoors 1/2 bath for toilet and sink in back foyer of new home. Additional notes/feedback: Please be aware that our compost pile and septic field are in the back yard. They have not been issues however one guest did catch occasional “whiffs.” All septic lids are sealed and it has been inspected. Also, one neighbor has done some chainsawing in July. Feel free to ask before coming and I’ll get a specific update on any anticipated nearby noise pollution work.

Ferny Friendly near-Ferry
Great spot in Indianola, with access to trails through the woods from the camp site. Hilary was quick to communicate and a friendly host. Camped in a rooftop top tent on the gravel driveway. Water, bathroom, and fire pit (a Solo stove, if no burn ban) on site.

Perfect Bike Camping Spot
A wonderful place. It was our first bike camping trip and was an easy ride from the Kingston Ferry as advertised. Very quiet and secluded spot. The amenities were perfect for us by having a bathroom and electricity to use. Hilary was very communicative and helpful. The community of Indianola and the beach were fun to explore. Highly recommend!

Ferny Friendly near-Ferry
We really enjoyed our stay, even with lots of rain! So easy to get to from the ferry, but feels enough like being out in the woods to be fun. Indoor bathroom and access to electricity to top it off. Hilary is friendly and so is her housemate. We used this as a launching point for a day trip to Port Gamble on our bikes.
