Roll your windows down as you turn in to take advantage of native berries. The driveway is steep and bumpy, but doable in a car. You'll drive under the moss covered branches of a twisted maple and pass a spring on your left.

The top half of the property contains the clear cut area where the residences are located, as well as the garden, sheds, equipment. Please be respectful of residential space. Dean’s Campground is located past the residences on the forested side of the upper half, bordering undeveloped golf course property.

Game trails are plenty. Do not interact with fauna. We live in their home. Exploration is bushwhacking. Please, be kind to the flora by making the smallest impact possible. Some of our native plants are sensitive and we are grateful to have them. I will provide planters and shovels for you to take ivy, saint johns wart, any other invasive plant you can find.

We are a primitive campground working to provide amenities. You may see or hear equipment such as chainsaws, tractors, forklifts, etc and / or notice work crews. If you will be sleeping during the day, please let us know when you book. We will accommodate you.

Noise from Auburn-Black Diamond, the train tracks, and racetrack are audible intermittently.
