Private sites
100% of recent Hipcampers say the sites felt private.
Wifi, hotspots, and great mobile service are some of the things you won't find at this camp site. If you want to find a peaceful place in the woods to disconnect and relax for a few days come check out the Creekside Camp, a private fully off-grid site just off of HWY 12. Stay in one of our canvas bell tents with 360* views of evergreen covered hillsides, or set up your own tent in our Cedar Circle, and take a dip in our year round creek. There are several good soaking locations - provided you don't mind the crisp, cool water - as well as many shallow spots to splash and play in. Picnic tables and fire rings are provided at each bell tent site, and a communal picnic area is available near the creek. You will have everything you need to relax and settle in close to nature. We are located between Morton and Packwood, about an hour east of I-5 and an hour west of White Pass. There is endless hiking, fishing, and exploring to do in the area.

Nice spot, creek was nice. Pretty private but can still hear the road sometimes, not a big deal though. Nice hosts.

This was a perfect little spot for a tent or 2 and my favorite hammock. Right next to a creek nestled in the woods. There’s even a picnic table to use nearby.

This space was beautiful and felt really private, even though it was right off the property. The creek was beautiful. The space to sit and read by the creek felt like something from a movie! It was a great spot for a getaway and I highly recommend it as campsite for Mt. Rainier.

Open tent site
We rented both bell tents for 2 families, and it was a perfect spot. The tents were very spacious and comfortable (and stayed very dry in the rain), and the site itself was private and peaceful. The creek and little trails kept the kids entertained. The hosts came and met us and were very welcoming and helpful with local tips. I would definitely recommend booking both tents if camping with another family or small group. The tents are close enough to each other that it felt like one big site with lots of space, and it could be awkward with strangers in the other tent.

Great stay! Nice spot by the creek with good access to Rainier. Best if you want to hike on the east side of the park

Bell Tent near creek
Perfect campsite!
My family came to Bell Tent 2 as part of an annual tradition of spending a few days away from the busy city somewhere deep in the woods. We were immediately impressed with the space, and were excited to see an enclosed fire pit because we had planned to cook everything over a campfire. The tent was huge, and beautiful. We got our best night’s sleep while camping on the bed they provided, and our three children had plenty of space to spread out & run around. Both hosts came by to introduce themselves, told us about the creek behind the campsite, and easy access to fire wood and a giant huckleberry bush that our children picked from. The campsite was less than an hour away Gifford Pinchot forest and less than a half hour away from picturesque views of Mt. Rainier. We can’t wait to come back!
