Meadow Breeze
Very secluded, intimate site
Chris' land is tucked off the beaten track and hard to find without proper signage. It turns out Google Maps does have the correct address but as we were unable to confirm directly with Chris we didn't want to venture past the no trespassing signs without invitation.
The site is very secluded and would offer a fabulous retreat for those looking to stay among the green rolling fields of Virginia.
Although we didn't stay, Chris had no issue giving us a full refund (after the dates of our stay) and even went so far as to call us to check the refund went through OK. In terms of service, he was truly 11 out of 10 and this left us feeling cared for but also disappointed that we couldn't connect before the stay to make the most of what promised to be a proper rural hideaway.
The other reviews were what lead us to make our booking and following my interactions with Chris I have no hesitation in recommending this venue - again, we didn't stay because we were unable to confirm the location, and not for any other reason.
Chris has invited us back - we just need to cross the Atlantic and rent an RV again to make it happen!

Looked nice. However, this will be very challenging for large road going non adventure type motorcycles as the entrance is steep graded gravel on a bend. We decided not to risk it. Owner was super helpful and understanding.

Meadow Breeze
Very few available campsites, in this area in March. With this in mind, the bathroom was seasonal. Quite acceptable. Chris was very friendly and helpful.

We had a great time! Beautiful view of mountains, rolling hills, great sunsets, and perfect spot for star gazing. Chris was really helpful and helped get us set up with plenty of firewood, utensils, etc. The camper bathroom was clean and the outdoor sink was very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Super cool site, great host. Very peaceful and a nice reprieve from the chaos of the KOA's. Cool community fire pit with wood by donation. If we're ever rolling back through we'll stay here. Check it out!
